Reviews of Center for Employment Training - CET Colton
"(Electrical) This school needs a whole new business model. They focus too much on the systematic side of schooling, but completely neglect the inspirational aspect of it. When attending your tour and first few days. You'll realize all too well the quantity of students and the lack of quality of skill taught to each student. Go straight to the union."
"This place is awesome! Training these people trades. FYI the entrance is on pepper"
"It's a cool place it's a fast track school meaning no class is more then a year I believe. From what I seen they have HVAC, welding, greenhouse and also automotive classes. There are other classes if you prefer give them a call."
"Just when I thought all hope was lost, I thought I'd never have a good career - until I found CET. You definitely get back what you put into it here. I gave it my all, and got so much in return. I enrolled in the CNC Machining Technology trade and sacrificed myself through two part time jobs while attending class full time. The school helped me fix my car in their Automotive Specialist shop when it broke down on the way to school, the financial aid department was also great and helped make it possible for me to afford reaching my goal, and had one-on-one training with my instructor, Osita Akunyili, who happens to be a precision engineer and prepares us for our trade. He does a great job in teaching us how to understand every aspect of the machining process. Vince Ramirez, is awesome with Job placement and has a well established network with various companies who specialize in the trades this school offers training in. Attending class everyday (even when I was really tired) showed the school I was really trying to make a change for myself. They acknowledged my hard work, and they figured if I am as dedicated at school, I must definitely be the same out in the field. Sure enough. Obtained a very good job three weeks before graduation with a sub military contractor. It's a really good school and the staff does all they can for you if you do your part. I recommend this school to anyone who's REALLY serious about making a change in their lives. If you don't take it seriously, they won't take you seriously. Plain and simple. They helped change my life because I was ready and really wanted it. When do you want to change yours?"
"Looking back on my Experience, I used my G.I Bill and Pel Grant on this school. It was a wise decision considering that trade schools near this one suck donkey balls. This school does not suck donkey balls. Here, you actually have the chance to actually LEARN your trade. I've utilized my veteran benefits for two programs here. It was totally worth it. (Narrated in Snoop Doggs Voice) Shout out to welding instructors John and Eddie ya feel me? Thumbs up to ma dawg HVAC Professor S. Aguilera for keepin' it "cool" na'm sayin'?"
