"DHL service is terrible and never refer anyone to use their services. They are unprofessional and Will change the delivery date by simply updating the case as “attempted to deliver but no one available”. What is DHL process when consignee not available? Aren’t they supposed to text or call or leave the door-tag?. They couldn’t provide any proof or picture as proof of delivery attempt when requested. Submitted the request to leave the shipment at front door but they informed (when I called after waiting) the shipment will be delivered next day but not on the requested day as they have “more volume of shipments”. Why did you accept the shipment if you know it’s beyond your capacity. Because you knew that customer already made the payment and no use of cancellation. Instead of simply saying “sorry for the inconvenience and more than happy to help you”, try to change the payment mode to “payment on delivery” and see. Shipment has something to gift but that person is gone forever. Now the shipment is of no use."
"This is crazy, worst shipment service ever. My package is sitting at DHL Fremont for five days. Every day the package is out for delivery and in the evening it updates to delivery could not be completed. When I call them they assure they will deliver that day. But it goes on. They don’t even attempt to deliver the package. Worst experience ever. Still haven’t received my package."

"DHL Fremont has the worst shipment service of all. You don’t even deserve 1 star. I get a message saying package could not be delivered because no one was home when we all are at home. When called to customer they said package is coming today first they said will receive by 7 then 10 and finally got this message. They are not even receiving calls after 7. The center has no refunds, or complaint considerations and no effort on their side to improve the service. Please avoid this service if you want a timely delivery of your package. The tone of customer care person is like they are doing favour on us when they should be apologised. If you could not deliver you should not take responsibility we would have arranged some other agencies. Package is ready from last 3 day’s getting same message but never delivered."
"To DHL area manager: DHL Tracking notification: "The access or entry code required to enter the building is not available." There is no access code to enter the building. There is a call button which your driver has to press by entering the receiver's name. This was not done by your driver. I did not receive any request to access my building. My international package containing food items is being now delayed by two days (Hoping I get it by then) because of your effortless drivers. Worst Experience for international package. Are international packages been handled by third party drivers? The driver who normally tends to the Dublin, CA, USA area knows how to enter the apartment unit. The driver who handled my international package made no effort to contact the person receiving the shipment or try to access the apartment building. DHL needs to understand that international packages are very important to customers and should give proper training to drivers and make sure the customer receives the package on time. DHL stop sending contact free delivery notifications as your unexperienced drivers will be more that happy to throw customers important mail anywhere in the street and later blame it on the customers. Customers are paying DHL not just for the transport cost but also for being able to receive the shipment in hand by the said date and time. Remember customer is KING."
