After an hour and a half of attempting a blunt cut and the stylist not knowing how to hold a scissor nor make a part, I knew that I should have asked questions about who was going to practice on me. Was there talent in the room? I didn't see it at the time I had my hair cut. From beginning to end I was cringing."

Students cut hair, but additionally they have the support of the instructors who come by periodically to check on the progress. "I have been coming for the past six years. I only get retouch and their prices can't be beat. The students are polite and the teachers as well. The women in the office who take your money and are the first people you meet they are rude and unfriendly. They don't even greet you they just say ' "what you want". They should be reprimanded and given some basic etiquette training."

"At this place, it is a little kind of hell. You as a student do not feel comfortable, but kind of fear around. Fear and threat from instructors and other students, most of whom are Vietnamese. Many bad things! People here teach and study just a little but do bad things quite much. Jealousy, foul words, bad teaching, bad behavior, food around in the classroom, chatting loud and long, hate among teachers and students, ect... You just can find a few works as a real instructor and a real student."
