"Great school!! From staff, professors and doctors show there dedication to there students education. There professionalism speaks volumes. My school My choice."
"Cons: Extremely difficult school/classes. Exams and assignments are not blended but graded separately. Some professors and are extremely and some mediocre. Need a min of 77 for assignments side and exam side another 77 min. No study area. No break room for students. Perhaps in the future, they will build more rooms and make it more welcoming for students but for now it can be a little bit of a struggle as many of us can’t really study comfortably at home. No nursing school is easy, but having a student environment space would help. Arizona state has a large nice breakroom. We need the same in every campus. Have to buy your books (hard copies) and your own laptop one will not be provided for you. Tuition costs are strictly for tuition, not materials or uniforms. Some students need to improve and maintain professional and courteous attitudes. High turnover of faculty. No incentives for referring people. I referred two students never received any type of incentive. Pros: Good learning experience, some professors truly care about our education. We are motivated to keep putting one foot in front of the other. There is a finish line. Provided with digital books. Able to start with none or some pre reqs; able to repeat classes if one doesn’t pass the first time. Entrance Hesi is reasonable. Strong student to student support in classes. Nice uniforms. Good location, in Ontario. Slightly cheaper than west coast. My advice is: get in. Do your work. Don’t talk about your teachers (unless it’s good) finish school. Get out. Scholarship opportunities. Raffles."
"Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that I recently applied to a few community colleges and private colleges and they did not except any of my Prereqs from Arizona College of Nursing (BEWARE!!)The school is regionally accredited and all California schools are nationally accredited so therefore they do not transfer."
"Hi everyone! I wanted to take the time to share my experience at the Ontario location. First and foremost, the staff don't care about their students and act in an extremely unprofessional demeanor. I attended 8 general ed classes and the first semester of the nursing program. Initially, everything in my general ed classes was seemingly organized. However, after starting the nursing program everything went downhill. They don't have enough supplies for all the students considering how much they charge you. The professors are continuously being changed. If you have questions for your professor you'll be told to either look online or look through the book. Once, my friend and I were confronted by the CEO who expressed her dislike for a professor. Some of the clinical instructors make you feel like you're stupid and expect that you know everything. When you go to the lab to practice your skills they have you watch an ATI video and expect you to perform the skills without demonstration. Recently, I started applying to schools just to find out that they are denying my transcripts from this school, including my general ed. When it comes to grading, exams are separated from homework and classes; even if you're passing your class but your exam scores are less than 77% you won't pass. Please, please, please do not attend this school, It's a nightmare. If I could I would leave no stars!!!!!!"
"Arizona College has been a pleasant experience. The professors are nice, helpful and show that they are determined to help their students shine. All of the Deans are helpful and are quick to respond. Dean Choudhury and Dean Tatum have been the most helpful and they make me feel at home. They say hi to me and ask about my family whenever they see me. There is nothing better than having a school feel like a safe and happy place. Overall, all of the faculty are great! Areas that need improvement is creating enough space in cohorts and perhaps a cafeteria. It is an inconvenience to have to leave to get food or order in."
