"I have nothing but awful memories of this school. I was bullied every year I attended here. Administration and teachers did nothing or encouraged the bullying. In fact, my teacher was very friendly and had favoritism towards the bullies. She even added them on MySpace. Yes, an adult added minors on social media which I’m pretty sure is unethical. I have younger relatives who also attended this school and were bullied. This is a failed institution."
"Dependent charter school in Jurupa USD. Great staff. Large music program."
"I went there but some of the teachers were so rude, my 6 grade teacher was not good, I recommend maybe rethink about coming, also so many kids say bad words there, the principal is great!! Most teachers NOT all we’re pretty good, and supervision was also good, but there were students that would just want to fight all the time, they say so many bad words, and so many students did not get along well.."
"This was our first year at PAAM. We’ve had a positive experience. My children love it, the music program is amazing!! The teachers are Knowledgeable, caring, and diligent, they do a fantastic job communicating with us parents through dojo on a regular basis. The new principal, Mrs. Hilliary Salley is fabulous! She is accessible, knowledgeable, and relatable because she was a teacher and she is a mother of school aged children. She has been working hard to bring parent involvement into campus with her music and muffins meetings. The additional resource staff is great as well. One of my children sees an SLP, and my child’s speech has improved a lot. The only negative things I can think of are: Student to teacher ratio is high. Kinder teachers don’t have aides, but most campuses in JV are that way. School pride and spirit (school colors and mascot are unknown) we’ll have to work on that the coming school year. Also, one of the biggest detriments is that parent involvement is really low from what I saw this year. There were no field trips or school dances etc. compared to my children’s old school because of funding. I’m sure as we parents get more involved and start working on fundraising we can bridge that gap. Teachers do it all, picnics and fundraising. We parents/ caregivers need to step up. (Losing nearly 3 months of school during the pandemic was no help either, that may have been their fieldtrip time.) Anyhow, We are looking forward to another year at PAAM!!!"
"Very friendly staff and faculty. Education programs are very well crafted to promote academics through music."
