"A total scam in this school, if you plan to attend a course, I recommend not doing so. I had to graduate in December and when the date arrived, they told me that I did not complete assignments and hours because I stopped attending my classes in a course, which was not true. and they didn't give me my diploma, as I read in many comments and it’s true THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY, teacher Ortiz is very good at teaching you everything she can and you can learn and develop your skills, the new teacher for morning class is a disgrace, he thought he was the big boss when he barely He is a simple instructor with “supposed”experience, in short terms DO NOT GO HERE"
"If you’re trying to get into welding stay away from this school, other students and I had a terrible experience here, No teacher or ANY Tig machines for 8 weeks during my last process. They told us they’d be able to certify us on site by the time our 9 month course was finished but that never happened. Poorly maintained machines and absolutely no structure to our day to day exercise wise whatsoever. Their post graduation isn’t great you’re not allowed practice, and the jobs they send you most of the time are jobs that require certifications or just processes they don’t even teach you. Not worth 18k I would look into apprenticeship with the union if you’re serious about learning about welding. This school is a joke and once you pay them they forget about you and focus on the next person they’re trying to sell enrollment to. The tools they give you are cheap ( all of which I had to replace before I even finished i.e. 9months) they don’t provide respirators or a tape measurer in their little bundle they give you so if you choose to go here I’d suggest picking those up."
"Edit: they did have issues initially the new team worked very hard to fix these issues. They made progress in fixing their issues in a timely manner. Daniel has been an amazing help. The new Director and the front office team are also amazing. They hear your complaints and work promptly to fix them. I am thankful that they are taking my concerns seriously and working to fix them. Im thankful for their dedication to hearing student concerns and their honesty and integrity."
"All around happy with what summit college has to offer us students. Very knowledgable instructors (James) and staff. The student portal is easy to navigate and get assignments done on time. Linda Van, my admission advisor was very welcoming, kind, easy to talk to and made my admission process very easy. She walked me through the whole process and asked all my questions I had throughly. Thank you, Linda!! Sincerely, Kevin"
"This is a great school for students to focus on what they want a career in. I highly recommend it for people that are passionate about the courses that are offered. Sign up for financial aid and be dedicated to graduating and pursing your career choice."
