Reviews of Alliance Judy Ivie Burton Technology Academy High School
"Hello, I am making this review due to the reason of all the bad reviews, most people say that this school is “bad” or that they “hate” it, but in my opinion, this school has provided me with college ready knowledge and experience. I have met many wonderful people and so glad that I spent my 4 years of highschool here. I’m honored to call myself a Burton Tech Scorpion and hope anyone who sees this review to really consider taking their child here or if you’re a student now, appreciate it! It’s one of the best highschool for your education."
"This is the school I attended from 2009 to 2013 it was an awesome School. The staff we're always there to help their students. They have tutoring for their students. The greatest thing I loved about this school was that when Mr Inez was there he was a big help with college he stayed on our butts about getting into a good college and mr. Regalado is an awesome counselor who I would talk to whenever I had an issue or needed someone to talk to you he helped me through a lot of stuff I was going through in my personal life help me to understand that I just need to forget about everything that was bad in it because no matter which way you look at it life is always going to have challenges that you have to face but it all depends on how you face those challenges in your life another awesome thing about this school or that there was two great teachers I looked up to the most when I went there the first teacher was mr. Haynes he was an awesome teacher who always had a smile on his face and he will work with you one-on-one if you needed him to so that he can help you pass the class he tried his best to make sure that every student was helped the other teacher mr. Diaz she wants to African-American and Latin American studies teacher I learned so much about the African American culture I also learned a lot about the Latin American culture just from mr. Diaz he kept his class strict but he made sure that everyone was helped he made learning fun exciting which a lot of teachers these days forget all about students aren't you going to learn by reading books all day you got to get them into the spirit you got to be interactive with them make it fun for them because any sticks in her head more instead of just making him read books and chapters over and over again that may work for some people but not all people work like that so I can you teach your students you make it fun just like mr. Diaz did it's stuck to your brain more and I remember you always have a quiz before the class was over so that he could see if you remember what he taught in class that day and he would know if you were paying attention or not so on that note I would really recommend this school do anymore because I pay attention to your education they want you to go to college they want you to strive for better then just working and some dead-end job they want you to have a career that you will love to do for the rest your life hell after I graduated High School yeah working a lot of dead-end jobs and stuff but I find out what my true passion was in and that was snakes so soon I was going back to school to study snakes that's my passion mr. Inez always said follow your passion that you want to do for the rest your life not just some career no he wanted you to find what drove you in what you wanted to do in life."
