"Garret Hess and his instructors have a passion for aviation and for teaching and you get that impression from the very first phone call. I am currently working on my private pilot certificate with my CFI Jason who is amazing. They are extremely accommodating and work with your schedule and your personal goals which makes for a very pleasant experience. Jason is extremely patient and answers my heap of questions with each lesson. I'm already planning on pursuing my instrument and commercial ratings with Jason after my PPL and couldn't be more pleased with my experience at FunOutside Aviation. We were first drawn to this flight school because their prices are MUCH lower than other's, about half as much as most (very important consideration for a broke young couple)! We quickly found that this lower cost did not in any way translate to lower quality instruction or equipment. The owner, Garrett, along with the other flight instructors, James and Ben, are a wonderful group of professionals who are truly passionate about aviation and passing that passion on to their students. If you're looking for a flight school, look no further! Book an "Intro to Flying Special" to try them out. There's a $99 option but the $150 option is an incredibly good deal for what you get.
