"This is the worst place to have representation from! Extremely unprofessional, unethical, and down right inconsiderate. I have been dealing with this law firm over the past few years trying (key word trying) to handle a "slip and fall" injury. I have been attempting to obtain an update on my case every 3/4 months, since April 2021 and every time I called, I was met with "When we have an update, we will call you. We have done everything on our end, on your behalf and are waiting a response." Mind you, a letter of representation was sent to the company where the accident took place in March 2021 and it was confirmed it was received. Said company sent numerous letters, emails, phone calls, and voice-mails srarting as of April 2021 continuously requesting information and this law firm never responded. The company never received anything from this firm in regards to my case since the original "letter of representation" back in March 2021 and since then, my case has passed the statue of limitations and will not be able to process moving forward. When contacting the law firm in regards to this, I was told it was not true. When I spoke to Michael Payne directly he could not neither confirm or deny if this information was true. He could not even confirm my new current address when I specifically called to update this information over a year ago. I requested a copy of all documents that have been filed regarding my case and discussed how my case was dealt with unprofessionally and asked how he intended to fix this problem his office created. Michael Payne assured me, moving forward I would deal with him directly regarding my case. He said he would be reaching out to said company to "handle the matter" and get back to me. Not only did Michael Payne not reach out to myself for an update nor return my call when I reached out to him, but instead Michael Payne served a notice to myself, said company, and to the courts that I "demanded" a trial for him to be removed as my lawyer. Not only does Michael Payne not intend to "handle the matter " but not is removing himself all together all the while a $10,000 chiropractor bill has accrued and am actually having long term effects due to injury and Michael Payne expects to remove himself as my lawyer and have me deal with this on my own. I highly suggest looking for representation elsewhere!"
