"We love this school! My husband is legacy, but I homeschool. Our son wanted to come to St. Anthony to play sports and have a big school experience. There are only about 600 kids here, so classes are small. Yay! Great for kids who have difficulty focusing. And his Catholic faith has strengthened because of the kids he's surrounded by. And teachers are very accountable to parents. Great communication. Easily accessible principal."
"If you are a regular student, the small class sizes and strong bonding will be a sell for you. If you are an athlete and have talent, you can't lose while being on scholarship here. Brian Walsh is a strong recruiter and wants top athlete to come through this school so either you need to be a student with a wealthy upbringing or an athlete with skills to make this school your home."
"Love S.A.!! I'm proud to say I graduated from S.A. in 1992, My daughter Jazz graduated in 2014 and my son Dre graduated in 2016! We are now all Alumni if S.A. Mr. Shaubert the Principle is the best! He really helped us out and I appreciate the school providing me with financial assistance otherwise I wouldn't of been able to send my kids to this school. I wanted my kids to receive the best education while learning more about our Catholic Faith and I knew Saint Anthony would give them both. I highly recommend this school to anyone who has children ready for High School!!"
"Very good school both academically and athletically, they helped me grow as a student and as a Catholic. Strongly recommend. There is a very strong bond due to the small school population size and a large amount of one-on-one attention."
"Worst School Ever St Anthony high school is a complete joke I wouldn't send even the lowest of kids to this hell hole. I sent my daughter to St. Anthony for four years because I feared the public school system but boy was that a mistake. Wilson or poly are much better options my youngest daughter is now attending poly and while it’s not the best school in the world it’s a much much better school then St. Anthony. I was attracted to St. Anthony's the same way I think a lot of parents are I heard the principal speak he spit out all these good facts about the school he’s a real salesman. He should become a sales man because that’s all he’s good for the mans a complete tool this scumbag just wants your money. Mike Schabert is nothing but a lying scumbag he doesn't care for your children he refused to help me when I had problems all he cares about is luring in kids for that money $$$. A minor thing that also bothers me is how much recruiting this school does. They give these athletes all scholarships and from what I’m told the athletes get a free pass like the school rules don’t apply to them. The athletes are treated much better than the average students. These kids don’t care about the catholic faith they just go to SA to get that free scholarship which there unworthy of. The school just uses these kids. On the topic of athletics the athletic director is about the unfriendlest man you’ll ever meet. The athletic program overall is a joke. The deans at SA are the worst particularly Ms. Carothers and Mr. Kennedy they enforce all these ridiculous rules while failing to realize the real problems. Neither of the deans is a professional. The school has a huge problem. Both deans disgust me. You have to do all this unnecessary fundraising on top of the overpriced tuition so I had to deal with the front office a lot. The front desk lady is not qualified to work at a 7/11 she is very disrespectful. The teachers at SA are average. Some really do care about the students really smart people who go out of therye way to help students. However most could care less about your kids and few individual teachers should be banned from coming in contact with children. I was very uncomfortable with my daughter being taught by one or two of these individuals. I realize I’m calling people out its just I don’t believe these people are doing a good job and have upset me over the years. I did like the campus ministry program but the staff in general are not good people they are completely inappropriate and immature they play favorites with students and throw certain students under the bus. The job they do is unexpteble for a school who calls itself catholic; the student body has a few more bad apples than your average school but nothing insane. I would say I do believe the school had a major drug problem with its student id hate for someone’s kid to start doing drugs just because of the people they came in contact with at SA. The area is not the best I recently drove by and saw two separate individuals getting arrested. The area isn’t the best but shouldn’t matter if st Anthony actually did a good job. I’m not one to rant on and on its just I disapprove of the job this school does. If you’re considering SA please think it through there are much better options."
