"I concur with LS. A nonprofit art studio that is either $3300 -$3600 just for the membership. The internship is the only other way to get affordable (for those that are poor) access - however - the Clay Studio limits that to those that already have ceramic experience. I think perhaps the Board should consider the difference between an internship and a fellowship and develop some programs for those that are economically challenged. Overall, seems like a place for rich people to do art. And the Clay Studio doesn't seem to be in full compliance with their own guidelines as it relates to economically disadvantaged. To me this falls short of the typical charitable and educational purposes of nearly every nonprofit. I guess you can stretch the law to say you are providing art education to rich people. Shameful."

"I had to give it only 2 stars because this is supposed to be a non profit facility. The classes seem to be geared toward very wealthy people. So expensive for even a day-long workshop. Such a shame that more people can't partake in this facility, due to its high cost. This is a place where so many people could benefit from, if it had more affordable classes. Clay Studio Staff, could you please consider lowering your prices? Thanks"

"Clay Studio is amazing!! I have taken multiple classes here during COVID via their online class offerings. The instructors are knowledgeable and very welcoming, and the class themes are always interesting. I think there is really something for everyone here. I learned a lot, and the process of getting clay, dropping off pieces for firing, etc. was simple and safe. Not to mention, the facilities are beautiful. I feel lucky to have this fabulous resource in the area and highly recommend it!"
