Reviews of Network Capital
"Kevin Jannak took the time to find the best loan for my wife and I. We have been trying to refinance for a long time and 2 other lenders denied us due to my wife owning her own business and having lost income due to COVID lockdowns. Kevin went the extra mile to show our credit and income were sufficient for the underwriters to approve our loan. Other lenders would not touch our situation due to my wife owning her own business. During the process Kevin checked in on us and answered all of our questions. He lowered my monthly payment and interest rate substantially and gave options for a loan fit for the needs of my wife and I. I know that funding loans for business owners and independent contractors is hard right now due so many loosing so much last year, but Kevin did the extra work to get us approved. Once approved for our loan Kevin and the escrow person Low Ellen were very helpful and patient with assisting us in the escrow paperwork. This loan closed really fast and I want to sincerely thank Kevin and the network capital team for bettering my situation."
"I wanted to do a cash-out mortgage to do a home remodel. Juan Velez and Joseph Francia from Network Capital made the process painless. Even though I have been with my current mortgage company for decades, I decided to do some research as to what was out there. Most lenders I removed from my list right away for one reason or another. It was down to Network Capital and my current lender. My current lender's terms were good, but Network Capital surprisingly came back with a better rate and lower closing costs. I told my lender I was going with Network Capital and they wanted to see Network Capital's estimate. They then beat it with even lower closing costs and a lower interest rate. I also had a trust to deal with that would incur a cost. I went back and forth between the two for a while and my current lender was eventually the lowest. So, why did I end up going with Network Capital? Customer service has always been my first priority with any company I do business with and Juan Velez provided excellent customer service for Network Capital. He was always available to answer my emails and calls and no question was a dumb one. I highly recommend asking for him by name. The loan processor, Joseph Francia was equally responsive. I could not get a hold of my current lender's loan processor to ask any questions. Another deciding factor was the time it would take to process my loan. Joseph told me it would take 2 weeks and my current lender said not sooner than 60 days. I really didn't believe it would take 2 weeks, but I figured it would definitely be sooner than 60 days. In exactly 2 weeks, I had my funds. The entire process was the easiest I've ever had to go through. I highly recommend Juan Velez and Joseph Francia from Network Capital for your mortgage needs."
"I recently refinanced my mortgage with Capital Network. The loan application officer was Ian James and Hazel Thomas was the underwriter. Both were very processional and patience with all of my many questions. They quickly get back to me when I contacted them. The process was personalized just as a friend of mine had informed me, easy, without hassle, and must of all they helped me to achieve my gold: 1- Lowering my mortgage payment 2- No out of packet 3- No huge increase in the actual mortgage because of the refinancing cost. They delivered what it was promised. And, the closing was easy and fast. And, very accommodating due to the COVID situation. A friend of my recommended me Capital Network and I have already recommended it to two of my friends. Thank you so much Ian and Hazel, keep the great job!"
"Where do I start? This was my worst experience with any brokerage/lending firm. Initially, they advertised a 2.25% rate but as the progress started they came back with a sloppy answer being "the rate is no longer available." Almost 21 days into the refinance, I had not heard back from anyone, so I decided to check in, and the excuse I received was our systems were overwhelmed, and it caused internal IT issues. Towards the end of the process, the notary was scheduled, and I took time away from work to attend the signature and closure. They dropped the ball and didn't make the deadline. I asked for some sort of concession and the response I received back was less than pity - "well. The company doesn't need the business given the time and era we're in." Almost 50 days later, we closed, and I decided to check with the previous lender for a paid in full balance statement. To my surprise, no payment had been made, and I had to again reach out on the status. I was transparent with them and mentioned that I would be leaving a bad review. Thread w/CAUTION. Update - I spoke with Baron Morledge (he reached out to me and requested a call back), who made this experience worse. He tried explaining and padding that the entire mortgage industry is going through a burden of applications and is basically overwhelmed. I called Navy Federal, and they gave me the opposite saying "we will get your loan funded in 21 days." I explained to Baron that my review was left on my experience with Network Capital and their associated vendors. As the conversation carried, he offered a gift card for the removal of the online feedback left. It felt as he if was trying to buy me off, and I explained to him that this was left on the principle of them not having the vendor relationships, not carrying about their customers, and it was nothing personal towards him or Adelle. Adelle - you were great and helped me through the process, but Network Capital should care for their clients as they provide referrals and some become repetitive customers. Treat people with some respect and dignity!"
"Yvonne Ramos is absolutely the most trustworthy, professional, efficient, understanding and kind person that has helped me to process the refinancing of my home. There is no question to small or big for her. That's why I make sure to reach out only to her with my home finances. Network Capital and Yvonne make the process as fast and easy as possible. They work around your availability whether day or night. I'm always impressed by Yvonne's response time, super fast. Thanks again, Yvonne."
