"I used John Hosford at Gillett Law for a very complicated divorce/custody matter with a uniquely difficult opposing party. This is my experience... There is an extreme amount of trust, and a giant leap of faith one must take in hiring an attorney. Hiring a lawyer in family law matters of this nature entails tying some of the most painful and difficult decisions of your life to another humans' skill set, and trusting that they can and will properly represent you during a time when it's hard to trust anyone.
