"I have had no experience playing a musical instrument before I started taking lessons at the Music Time Academy. I have been taking guitar lessons from Cory for 9 months. He has been a great teacher and a mentor. His has a steadfast willingness to share his technical expertise in classical guitar and in music. In addition to teaching particular techniques in guitar playing (e.g. arpeggio, planting), he always gives a big picture of music theory by showing examples from other instruments such as the piano. During our lessons, we follow the book called "the christopher parkening guitar method, vol.1". We already covered more than half of the book. I want to give a quick example about the progress I have made. At the moment, I am able to play a theme from Beethoven''s symphony 9 (Ode to Joy). In summary, my experience has been very positive."
