"I've been studying the drum set with Eyal of the Oakland Drum School for just over a year now. Out of the dozen or so instructors I've studied with over the past couple decades, I can attest that Eyal has been my favorite and most influential teacher thus far. Eyal has helped me progress in ways other teachers have not while consistently keeping the material he gives me each week fresh and fun to work on. As a more advanced player, the areas Eyal has helped me with the most have encompassed playing linear grooves, half time shuffles, learning new approaches to playing fills, and working on my "feel" and dynamics to become more of a versatile and musical drummer.
