Reviews
"This university has earned my highest recommendation, and I would award it countless stars since five is not enough. As an online Bachelor of Architecture student nearing the completion of my 4th studio, my journey has been exceptional. The caliber of my professors, including Shruti Dixit, Eva Chiu, Antonio Lao, Alexandra Neyman, Jason Austin, and Rebal Knayzeh for studio courses, as well as Katy Martin, Doron Serban, Ying Wang, Michaela McLeod, Braden Engel, Samuel Tsitrin, Edward Pertcheck, Hans Sagan, Jonah Rosenberg, Rachel Moseley, Laura Brugger, and David Schragger for other classes, has been outstanding. Residing in Los Angeles, I have found the online program remarkably convenient and enriching, offering the same excellence I imagine the onsite program does. The flexibility of only leaving my home for materials and the ability to share and discuss project photos with a global student community and professors via Conceptboard, online discussion boards, and Zoom video chats enhances the learning experience. The program focuses on nurturing artistic and visionary leadership in architecture, which aligns perfectly with my aspirations. One notable aspect is the Integrated Path to Architectural License (IPAL), a unique offering accelerating the journey to becoming a licensed architect. I eagerly anticipate joining this program in the Fall of 2024. Furthermore, the university is NAAB and WASC accredited, which makes it a serious institution. Out of all the esteemed institutions I considered, like Cal Poly Pomona, Cornell, USC, and others, the Academy of Art University knocks them all out of the park. In summary, this university is an unparalleled choice for anyone serious about pursuing licensure as an architect in the U.S. The opportunity it has provided for me to chase my dream has been invaluable, making it worth every penny and more. I never write reviews like this one, but this university deserves it."
"The courses here are amazing"
"I've never actually been to the campus but have been taking their online courses for 5 years. I will graduate this Spring and am so excited to visit the campus. The instructors have all been amazing and so knowledgeable, the coursework is rigorous (don't take this lightly, you will practically kill yourself trying to get all the work done and in on time. You pretty much have to keep an I would die before I quite attitude!), but the knowledge gained is invaluable. With my schooling I was able to obtain a job in my area and in my field 1 1/2 yrs. before graduating! Of course I am biased, but going back to school and choosing AAU to do it with was one of the best decisions I could have ever made!"
"One of the worlds greatest schools on earth. I do go here and im biased but i love it!!!"
