"I was greeted by staff & students... I told the instructor what style I wanted and he understood then lead me to the classroom... I was then greeted by students a man/men who gave me the BEST HAIR CUT EVER!! And my hair is FABULOUS! Thank you Moler Barber"
"Great place to get an affordable cut. Was a little put off by students lounging in chairs with just two apparently working. One was practicing color and set on a teaching dummy head, the other just finished up with a customer. Both young men supervised by an instructor who greeted me at the desk. He told me this was a school and asked if I knew that all cuts were done by students. I said Yes that that was why I chose it. He took my $8 up front then sent me over to the young man who had just finished the only other customer. Patrick was very nice and worked carefully to give me a good cut. I think I was probably his first older woman with a boy cut. He took his instructors' corrections and direction well and did a fine job. He was very professional and also made good small talk...Essential skill for a barber. Having found out during the cut that I was homeless, he even tried to give me $5 when he finished! I refused, of course, and insisted he take a $2 tip. He would need it to feed the cute baby he showed me a photo of. I left very impressed with both the student and teacher and would recommend this shop to anyone on a budget willing to help a barber in training."
