"Great group of instructors who love to surf and share their love with newbies young and old. Different from other companies, you spend the majority of the lesson in the water, not on land. We have used SS&F to teach our children (11 and 13y) within a group lesson on Saturday morning as well as private group lesson on a Wednesday when we had a bunch of family in town. Our kids now have a love of surfing and a middle aged old man got up on a board! The beach is great for beginners, and the instructors are great about putting you on the right size wave for your level experience. Highly recommend for anyone interested but not sure how to get started."

"This is a great place for beginners to surf - not crowded and gentle waves you can ride all the way in. Fabien is very hands on and provides great guidance to help you improve throughout your lesson with tips to practice at home. Peaceful and serene on a Friday morning - just us, a seal bobbing around, and a couple swimmers and paddle boarders were in view. Perfect setting coupled with super helpful coaching."

"This was such a great experience! I joined last minute after emailing with Fabian the morning of and they were super accommodating of taking a late joiner. The lesson was super approachable and Fabian and Jacob were both extremely patient and well versed in teaching different levels of surfers. As well a great value for $90 to include the suit and board rental and a 90 minute surf lesson! Beats all the competitors out there! I had only surfed twice before, both without lessons, so I wanted to focus on foundations and just really have fun and learn a more calm approach to riding a wave, which MAHALO I DID!! The water was amazing, the group class I joined had a great time and it was such a convenient joyful Saturday on the water~ can't wait to come back with friends!!"

"I tried e-foil, it was a fun and different experience and I really recommend it! The spot is quiet and very convenient, the equipment is like new and high quality and after getting all the proper instructions about the equipment handling and safety recommendations we were off on the water. Fabien's explanations were precise and simple and even though I never rode an e-foil before and I could fly on water on that day and also get a good workout! I had plenty of time enjoying the rides and I absolutely loved it and will do it again!"
