It's because the consumer, the homebuyer, is the one that is going to take it up the proverbial backside from this company. Not only did they delay closing because they refused to work with the lender's portal, waited until the last minute then hung up on the lender at 4:35 on Friday when they wanted to go home early, FAILED to send checks when they were supposed to causing us to incur even more interest fees after closing, and more, but the response from them was "We're not responsible." If you have a seller or home deal wanting to use this company, run as fast and as far away as possible. PT Barnum and Cirque De Soleil wouldn't have the audacity to be involved in the circus that is Placer Title Company. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A TITLE COMPANY."
