"Things have gone from bad to worse throughout the past year and a half. It's finally time to move out and when the following concerns were brought to management, my wife and I were told "this isn't management's problem, and if you have a problem, lawyer up". Here is a list of things that all occurred within our time here: -Strong scent of marijuana in hallways and vents throughout the evenings making hard to sleep -Had to call the cops more than once regarding homeless people gaining access and living in the stair wells and loitering near vehicles -Terrible garbage management and trash scattered across parking lots. Dumpsters are always overflowing leaving you with nowhere to put your trash. -Instances of maintenance entering the unit without notice. When asked, they said they could do it because it was for an "emergency repair" but found nothing wrong in unit. One of these instances my wife and I woke up to our dog growling and a man in our unit (~7am). -Unable to get a hold of management for sometimes weeks at a time, yet if you do not pay rent by the 1st of the month (3 day grace period) they will hand-deliver an eviction notice to you same-day -Multiple ignored requests when looking to lease a garage -Broken elevator and front entry for several months at a time -60-day notice required despite transitioning to a month-to-month lease, when we reached out to get more information prior to our deadline, it took over 3 weeks for management to reply. When we stopped by the office in-person, the man in there would lock the door and turn the lights off until we left. Now management is demanding an extra month of rent. This leasing company does not uphold their share of the leasing agreement, yet will be relentless in collecting payments and fees. Please beware if you are thinking of moving in and if you still choose this complex, hold them accountable to their breaches."
"For several years as a resident here, I’ve seen the new management team make great strides in quickly addressing the needs of tenants. Heather, in particular, has been outstanding in her responsiveness and thoroughness. Before the arrival of Heather and this management, the snow in front of my garage was consistently unattended during winter. The plowed snow would even accumulate in front of my garage, forcing me to shovel my way out and purchase salt for the area.However, this winter, Heather and her team have made significant efforts to ensure that areas in front of the garages and balconies are well-maintained and cleaned. It’s a refreshing change, especially considering how tenants’ concerns can sometimes go unattended , but this team has been exceptional in this area."
"In a new building the elevator should never be out of order, but in the 6 months I have lived here it has been out of order close to 30 days. The maintenance worker who came in hook up the dryer unhooked the washing machine and flooded our apartment, manager thought it was cute and laughed at me for being angry. There is no positive I can give for living here."
"It’s shocking they can call this place “luxury” apartments. More like horrible apartments. Walls are so thin you can hear people above and next to you. People’s cars are so loud you can hear them all through out the night….especially one that has a sticker on it “locally hated”…I wonder why. Read the rest of the reviews, management sucks. No one knows how to act like decent humans anymore. Management doesn’t do anything but tell you to call the cops for any issue…isn’t their job to manage??? Save your money"
"Not only is there dog poop smeared all over the grass of the property, the entire building upon entrance smells like weed and B.O. The trash is so overfilled, it attracts raccoons and management does not do anything to keep the trash managed, there are couches and chairs out there. They will charge you for garage grease stains and will charge you for any malfunctioning appliances even if you did nothing to it, such as toilet plumbing and drain issues, that’s something they only tell you when you declare you are moving out though. They are currently withholding my security deposit over supposed cleaning fees, for the fridge/tub/countertops/floor. Not only that, they are trying to charge me above the deposit saying I owe them over 100 dollars. Lol. Take photo evidence of your apartment before leaving! Sadly they will be losing in court soon. The cops are always around and you can hear everything going on outside because the walls are horrible quality. Overcharging for a low quality material building. Save your money. The property manager is incredibly rude, Heather. At one point in my lease she attempted to charge me 90 dollars for not paying on the first. Obviously I had evidence of paying online on the first and she continued to argue via email despite proof being sent. Eventually, after I screenshot a section of the lease and sent it to her, she chose to remove the charges. Not worth the hassle unless you want extra stress and have to take the time to file a case in small claims! Real Estate Equities Management LLC out of Saint Paul is to blame, control your properties and employees. See ya in court!"
