"We just resigned our lease (Southridge duplexes) and are very happy here. The maintenance team is fantastic, the area is clean and quiet, and the unit is spacious and well kept. We moved from out of state so it was scary signing a lease when you really don’t know what you’re getting, but everything went smoothly. Couldn’t ask for better."
"The worst rental management company i ever rented from. First off, I put a work order in to have them come fix the leaky roof from the previous renters and they never came, there are several other things they did not fix in the house as well, the neighbor call the police on me for a bit of loud music but I'm not from Wisconsin so I did not know about a noise violation policy until the officer gave me one, I took it to court and explained that I wasn't from the area and I was unaware of the city policy. The court DROPPED my citation, which means I'm not guilty. But regal management sent me a letter stating they don't want to renew my lease because the police were at my unit, even tho I explained to them that the citation was dropped. They refuse to work with me. And finally, as I'm trying to apply for other rental properties, they told my new landlord that I damaged a bedroom door and kicked a whole in the wall and they would not rent to me again, that damage came from the previous renters, but THEY HAVE DONE THAT TO 3 RENTAL MANAGEMENT COMPANIES that i applied for. I wouldn't be surprised if they illegally kept my deposit. I highly recommend NOT RENTING WITH THESE PEOPLE."
"Not great with communication, or policy explanation. I have had issues with getting a phone call returned, and questions answered. They are big on giving late fees, and no reasons why. They do not send out bills efficiently, and I have had problems with getting my mail sorted correctly in my apartment mailbox. I would recommend finding out if they manage any apartment you are thinking of renting, and NOT renting with them, because of it. I am looking for other accommodations because of their poor customer service and policies for charging utilities and managing fees. I am also filing a report with the BBB about how their business is run, and hope an investigation results from it."
"There is a massive wasp problem at their prairie place apartments and they refuse to acknowledge the problem. You can literally see them crawling into a vent by my balcony and my balcony is literally unusable because there are so many. These things are MASSIVE. Like two inches long. It’s not gotten to the point where numerous times they have gotten INTO my apartment. Keep in mind I never open my patio door because it’s unusable. This is not ok. For all I know, they could be in the vents and I’m constantly scared I’ll turn on my AC one day and have a swarm in my apartment. This is maybe overreacting but I’m allergic and I don’t feel that my life should be endanger for the amount I pay in rent. Update: I received an email saying my review is unfair and asking if I’d like to move out. I find this a little aggressive. I don’t think my review is unfair at all, since I just had a 2 inch black wasp get into my apartment for the 6th time. Either there is a nest in a vent (which they insist is not the case) or they have the worst insulated windows ever which allow outside bugs to easily get in. This is not something that should be a common occurrence since I literally never have my windows open. I’m tired of the gaslighting. Edit: Since Regal ignores my email response from over a month ago but then responds here I guess we have to do this publicly. You stated you acknowledged my concerns but that was only once I posted this review. Until then, you didn’t seem to care one bit. I also had my own exterminator come who did find a nest- perhaps you needed to hire someone better. I also did respond to your email with multiple solutions that I feel would reconcile the situation, yet I’ve been ghosted again. I would love a response to my email from August- preferably with the same tone you have in your public responses instead of how you have responded previously."
"Gateway Apartments 2 bedroom unit. I am comfortable. This is my divorce transition housing. Kitchen is decent in size. Appliances are not glamorous, but work fine. I had to buy a microwave. Living area is rather large with sliding patio door to a small concrete area. Small room for laundry/ storage. Machines are provided. Carpeting and tile are older styles. Master bedroom has a small walk in closet. Second bedroom has a wall closet with folding doors, that one is a little small. Outdoor parking is ok. There are a few spaces for overflow/ guests nearby. Neighbors are all quiet and respectful. Trash bins could be emptied more frequently. My electric bill has been as low as 90 in fall to 120 in the cold winter months. Super location, close to any store. I no longer have to load up on groceries for a bunch of different recipes. If I need something, I can get it and get back in 20 minutes."
