"Mr. Ziff was not an ethical attorney in my case. Call your insurance company yourself and make sure you understand if you even need a lawyer, as the 30% he charged should be because they have done work of some kind to garner the funds from a claim you would not normally receive. In my case I did not need a lawyer, it was flat pay out from the insurance company, Mr. Ziff did not make a single phone call to find this out and so angrily coerced me into surgery misrepresenting the fact that there would not be funds available, no doubt thinking the more money I spent on medical bills the larger his payout would be. I had the knee surgery being told by him it was my only opportunity to have it covered, this was not the case and I found out later was not necessary as again it was a flat payout. I have asked Mr. Ziff to not take 30% of the funds I was supposed to receive as he 1. Was not needed and did nothing to earn any percentage. 2. Misled me re. urgency of surgery, which in the end costing me thousands of additional dollars. I am further behind financially because of using him as my lawyer. I am in the process of reporting the details of this scenario to the California Board."

"I called for a consultation (The fee was paid by my agency). All I heard from Mr. Harvey during the 7 minutes of our call was that I needed to pay him more so that he studies the case. He said he didn't have any answer for me. However he got paid for that consultation anyways. I'm pretty sure they are professional on their field but I didn't get a good first impression. I don't recommend this place personally."
