"I've been at NRI/USA/LA since 2012. Started with a Temp-Agency and later got hired on to the team to become full time NRI. NRI is Canadian based but expanded to the U.S with their first warehouse being based in Los Angeles, CA and has expanded to opening up 3 more warehouses in the I.E area. They have grown and continues to do so. Not only has NRI been able to create more jobs in Southern California but they have shown their core values in and out of the company. Such as donating to charities in and around the community, along with volunteering on certain events in the I.E and L.A area such as the Ronald McDonald House "Walk for Kids" and at several of our beaches with "Heal the Bay" Foundation. We at times face our up's and down's but what family doesn't? Just keeping it real! I have been through a lot in life, held many different jobs. Some exhausting, some fair and others toxic with bad inside politics but here at NRI it feels like home (Loud with kids yelling and running all through the house, while I too give chase and try to calm the situation to be better at peace). Lol! It's a warehouse! But all&all being said I once started as a temp but thanks to NRI's ability to expand and opportunity to grow within, I am now the Production Coordinater with plans to grow further along the Company... Thanks TY for believing and always instilling and teaching that next level to advance. And who can forget our northern neighboring Canadian friends, Bruce & Pete! Who by the way sound and speak nothing like Our other Canadian friends Eric, Kenny and Kyle from South Park. Thank you all!!! Now as I read my post some years after and no longer with the company. I come to realize that certain situations in the power of politics within one's workforce just plainly suck! When one gives years of solid dedication and helps build a productive team and gain that momentum in a company that's growth is indisputably grown by the teams that are on that floor. Leading and making things possible! But only for the company's half hearted relationships with it's employees and so called values that are fake and poorly exercised! It's awesome when you enjoy going to work and love what you do but then 1 so called leader (Jameel Thompson) gets put to manage a team only to come with no experience or knowledge of how and what goes on down on the floor and how procedures are done and executed to keep production going. When 1 person brings all that toxic environment down to the teams who's synergy now gets disrupted and that 1 person brings down employees with good reputations and cowardly throws off his failures and uses them as his scapegoats for the failure in one's bad management of a whole company's #1 building. Jameel Thompson is a coward and same goes for his leaders/bosses that seem blind by the lousy manager they hired to bring good people down!"
