"Great firm, responsive and attentive staff. Jethro has gone above and beyond on my case and I appreciate how they make you feel taken care of every step of the way."
"I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Steven Adair MacDonald as my attorney, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. I strongly advise against using his services as he proved to be the worst attorney I have ever encountered. Firstly, MacDonald constantly played the role of a landlord rather than an advocate for his clients. He repeatedly emailed the landlord with the same questions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and causing unnecessary frustration for all parties involved. This lack of professionalism and focus on irrelevant matters was a clear indication that he was more interested in dragging out the case to charge exorbitant fees rather than providing efficient legal assistance. Furthermore, MacDonald had the audacity to ask customers to sign documents that had already been signed, purely to exploit them with exorbitant fees. It was evident that he cared more about increasing his own revenue than genuinely helping his clients. This unethical behavior is both disappointing and unacceptable. Engaging Steven Adair MacDonald as your attorney will only result in wasting your valuable time and hard-earned money. He is not committed to advocating for his clients' best interests and is only concerned with robbing them of their finances. It is truly disheartening to encounter an attorney who puts personal gain above the well-being of their clients. I strongly recommend seeking alternative legal representation if you value professionalism, honesty, and a genuine commitment to serving clients. There are numerous reputable attorneys available who will genuinely work in your best interests, unlike Steven Adair MacDonald. Save yourself the trouble and avoid engaging his services at all costs."
"Attorney Olivia Dopler helped me with a family legal matter. She was great to work with, especially with a highly stressful situation. She was so easy to talk with, and I always understood what she explained to me. She's both kind and patient. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for their help."
"After having a long, drawn out ordeal with a rogue property manager/tenant who had his own agenda for my rental property in SF, I contacted the firm Stephen Adair MacDonald due to all of the positive reviews and I can affirm that they are all well deserved! My initial consultation with Danny was very positive. His expertise and knowledge is solid. After I told him about my predicament he told about various options in the form of scenarios to handle my case, which in the beginning didn't make much sense to me because these were options I could not have imagined would be possible. But as true professionals, Danny and his team started drafting up a strategy that became clear. I worked with Tiffany who is part of his world class team. She is very professional and pleasant to work with. In the beginning, I like many others just wished for a quick resolve, but I didn't realize that due to the complicated laws in SF, that there were so many fine, granular details that must be adhered to. I realized that this process could take some time based on each persons case so I decided to trust the process and I was not disappointed. After deciding on an approach and under their guidance, a plan was implemented and within a month my case was resolved. What's great about Tiffany and Danny's professionalism is that they try to resolve my case in the most creative ways possible by looking at all the various options available while weighing in the costs. Everyone knows that attorney fees can be costly but Danny and Tiffany are all about trying to resolve the case in the least expensive way possible, they state that upfront and they do deliver on their word. I am so glad I went with this firm!"
"6/14/2017 I called this firm based on Yelp reviews for a free consultation regarding a lawsuit from a former Tenant that lived in an in-law unit in my house. I made an appt, and Steven MacDonald immediately responded and set me up with Danny Wang. Deadlines for filing response papers were coming up, and I was stressed. Danny met me at the free 30 min consultation and went over his free time by 40 min. He explained everything extremely well, and what I most appreciated was that he was realistic and reality-based-no sugar coating of problem areas. Danny told me I really need to contact my insurance company immediately to see if they can cover the legal costs. I never paid their retainer nor signed a contract, but Danny was well aware of the impending deadlines and did some preliminary legwork in preparation anyway. Once I found out from the insurance carrier that they would do the legal work, I notified Danny and we amicably parted ways. 3 weeks later I received an invoice for $500 for services rendered. I responded by saying that I never paid the retainer, and was under the impression that no work would be done until a contract was signed and retainer paid. Although Danny had spent extra time, he graciously waved this invoice, and wished me luck on the case. Very professionally handled. Highly recommend! Would definitely go back when and if needed!"
