"Liars, Thieves, and Crooks. Stay away. Do not believe a word they say. The day of the move the price increased 3X, and I was told 7-10 days to receive my items. However, they are taking almost 30 days to deliver. They have a clause in the paperwork that allows this to be legal that they don't disclose to you until they conveniently need it themselves. They are nothing more than criminals taking advantage of people in super vulnerable situations who trusted them with literally everything they own."
"Liars. Thieves. And Crooks. My Nightmare Moving Experience with Raptor Van Lines I am compelled to share my horrendous experience with Raptor Van Lines. Initially quoted $3000 by Liz for a move from Las Vegas to Chicago, the nightmare unfolded on the agreed-upon moving day, 12/20. Despite our meticulous planning and a scheduled move date of 11/22 or 11/23, the truck arrived a day early, throwing us into absolute chaos. To make matters worse, upon arrival, the movers declared the cost had nearly tripled to $8000. We were left with no choice but to succumb to this extortion, despite Liz's initial quote. It became apparent that Liz's inability to accurately quote cubic footage had cost us dearly. The promised 7-10 day delivery timeframe turned into a potential 30-day wait. Numerous attempts to contact a manager, specifically Diane, yielded no response. Shockingly, 22 days later, our belongings are still languishing in Las Vegas, with no sign of dispatch. Raptor Van Lines has not only failed to deliver on their promises but has also left me feeling deceived, robbed, and utterly disappointed. I implore anyone considering their services to steer clear. Move your items by pack mule or wheelbarrow. It will be quicker and easier. Explore alternative moving options, as this company's practices are nothing short of criminal. I find myself sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment, the victims of what can only be described as a heinous act by Raptor Van Lines."
"I had originally received quotes from a few different companies and ultimately decided to rent a Uhaul. However, Raptor Van Lines continuously called me everyday so I eventually answered the phone. Liz told me for 30 large boxes and the other items I requested to be moved it was a $1,744 estimate. I explained to her that I was unsure of how many or types of boxes I would be using as I had not packed yet. The equivalent cubic feet she quoted me at was 436. She also said my items would arrive in 3 to 5 days. On the day of pickup the driver walked around my house looking at the items and said it was more like 1500 cubic feet. I had no choice but to sign as it was the day before I had to pack my family up and drive across country. After everything was loaded he eyeballed the stuff and told me it was 1136 cubic feet. There was no measuring or anything. Just what he told me. The cost had just ballooned to $4,794, almost triple of the original estimate. I was highly skeptical but again had no choice. Upon arrival of belongings in Tennessee 11 days later I asked the driver to line all of the boxes up against the garage wall. After measuring all of the boxes and smaller items it came out to approximately 250 cubic feet. I then measured all of the larger items and furniture. That came out to about another 300 cubic feet. The overall exact cubic footage was 542 cubic, less than half of what the original loader eyeball measured it at. I emailed Diane to let her know that their company was deceptive and bait-and-switched me during a vulnerable time. She could not let go of the fact that there were more items then originally quoted. I tried to explain that the original quote was based off of large boxes, and that the majority of the boxes were actually small boxes. It didn't matter to her. She just continued to send me their policies and blame it on me. I filed a claim with their claims company for an overcharge and am awaiting the results. I would not hire this company if I were you but if you are in a bind and have no other option I would suggest measuring your belongings before they put them on the truck and not letting them eyeball measure. It is quite apparent that their loaders are either improperly trained to estimate the cubic feet or are blatantly and purposefully inflating the cubic feet drastically. How does a professional in the industry estimate more than double what the actual cubic footage is otherwise?"
"They did a fantastic job moving my mom from Santa Rosa to Lincoln Hills Sun City. They were professional, courteous, showed up on time, and gave her one of the most detailed estimates I've ever seen. Took care of everything like it was there own. Broke nothing. I would use them again without hesitation. Can not recommend them enough."
"These guys are solid movers. They are reasonably prices and on time. The estimate they gave me over the phone was spot on. The movers, Tim and Damien, were courteous and worked hard despite it being a hot July day. They made easy work of all my items including some heavy desks and large plants. I was very pleased with this business."
