"DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!! Edit to add: I noticed the owner replied below and tried to claim that I never applied through them. My case in point, as THIS WAS A BLATANT LIE. I applied in June 2021 and it was an awful experience. I have all my emails from Valerie King Webber, the General Manager to support this. I only realized a few years later that I forgot to warn the general public to stay away from this absolutely terrible rental property. Better late than never! LOL. You can look anywhere online and see what a terrible experience everyone has had with them. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! :)"

"If you can rent from someone else do. Poor communication and will never give you your full deposit back. Update: We built a house and the completion date was before the end of the lease. For moving out 11 days early and getting penalized for it so be it. But we left the rental property better then when we got moved in. Hiring a cleaner must be something new for applegate because when we moved in and we had to clean everything. There was old underwear in the bathroom cabinet broken light fixture(which I replaced). We cleaned mold out of the tube, cleaned the oven...I could go on. Oh I forgot applegate did give me $50 for cleaning. Good job applegate but I'm not changing my review. Everyone that has given a review must of been wrong. It the same story over and over. Look on the better business burial."

"I have worked with Applegate in the past, and the ladies at the office have always been very helpful and have always done their best to answer all of our questions. They are very knowledgeable with the leasing process, and when the move in day came, everything went to plan. I would recommend Applegate. The maintenance guys are great to work with, too!"

"I have rented from Applegate on and off for 20 years. Never missed rent or had a write up. Neither has my boyfriend. We were asked to move and given proper notice. Even with the proper notice with the rental retention rate so high it is next to impossible to rent. We are very stressed out and are very upset with Applegate and after all these years they can't even give a reason to us why they are asking us to leave and they do not care about our 20 year relationship. Now they are so large of an organization it will be impossible to rent, and they just think its funny. I think they think its funny because of the way they talk to people or the emails we get. People, the days of building a relationship with your landlord are over, now you can email these people. You don't know who you are talking with, they don't get back to you or answer questions. I could go on, but please remember this and reflect on this before you make your decision to do business with these people. We feel they are kicking us out to raise the rent and re-rent the place. This happened to several of our neighbors last year around this time. They all got notices and had to figure it out. I felt so bad and now I know how they felt. Shame on Applegate. We thought you were better than this!"

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Do not rent anything or give them any money. I just terminated my lease the first day and got my money back. My unit that I was moving into had live wires out in the open and looked like they got done with 50% of remodeling and cleaning the place. Absolutely trashy company and worst attention to detail. DO NOT DO BUSINESS."
