"Avoid this company at all costs. I had the unfortunate pleasure of living in one of these rental units for 2 years. Nothing gets fixed, for instance my kitchen light was broke and it took them 9 months to fix it. My AC unit was installed improperly and fell out of it's window sleeve back in October and they would not seal it up because they say it's not their responsibility so I literally have had to stuff it shut with my own blankets as best I could and even though a police officer and government section 8 say it's a clear violation of my rights there are no lawyers who do tenant law because as I was told no money to be made so they literally get away with anything and everything because who can stop them. Imagine how great my heating bill was for winter when I have a 27 by 24 in hole in my wall straight through to the outside. Management will hang up on you and do absolutely nothing. I have lived in apartments all over from small towns to the twin cities and I have never seen a company as horrible as Croix management. As a tenant to them you have no rights and all they care about is getting the rent check. The entire staff at Croix management needs to be fired and replaced by an actual rental company that knows what they are doing and understand that tenants have rights. Again avoid this place at all costs"

"The manager in my building has anger management issues and is verbally abusive towards the elderly. Trying to get business done with Croix management itself is like pulling teeth, no one there has any clue who has what info and where, just transferred back and forth... or told you will get a call back, and then you never get a call. Worthless company! Not a good place to live!!!"

"One of the worse places to live. Our apartment flooded more than 3 times.. only thing they did was shampoo because “that’s all it needed” carpets & base boards were wreaked. Dryers never worked and washer spelt disgusting. The “security” door either never locked or wouldn’t open. Would have to go in & out OUR WINDOW. I was pregnant and got a doctors note to break my lease a month before it was over because OF THE MOLD and was getting sick. I even paid last months rent before moving in and they want to OVERCHARGE me and say I owe them all this money when I have each money order & proof of everything. If you want to live around crackheads that beat up grills outside, people cracked out outside & hallways, poor management, ACs falling out of windows, fighting, appliances that don’t work & won’t EVER get fixed, and disgusting apartments that are falling apart then go ahead and sign your lease. Place is a joke."

"My daughter, fiancé, and I have gone 3 months without a dryer because maintenance will not come and do their job. We have gone 6 month with a broken toilet in our spare bathroom (Not a huge deal) but the fact that no one has been here to fix it it frustrating. And We have gone 2 months without a oven. This place is a sh*t hole and no one fixes anything. They are lucky they haven’t had a lawsuit on their hands YET. I highly recommend not renting from this company. ( located in Montrose, MN)"

"The fact that the rent is cheap is the only redeeming quality. When we moved in it was dirty. They are usually late to fix anything. They are currently 35 minutes late to do a walk-through with me. If I could give half a star I would."
