"Great little museum in the assembly hall. Documenting famous people of Italian ancestry. Free admission and bathrooms."
"Great museum featuring Italian American history and culture in a historic building. Permanent exhibits as well as special exhibits such as Pinocchio. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Free admission! Donations accepted. Well worth a visit."
"Free! Tons of information about the history of Italian Americans and how they were treated as second class citizens. Also, they have an exhibit all about Pinocchio. The staff is also very nice."
"We decided to spend a day off in Los Angeles and came across this unique Italian American Museum close to Olvera Street. I'm glad that we went in met to the docents and were able to take photographs in there. I really enjoyed it I was very unpretentious Alpha love Enough history to get the idea of how the Italian Americans worked and lived and that certain time period. If you have the opportunity to go in there, it is free and know that you will need to climb a couple flights of stairs."
"I loved attending this museum. So much Italian American history I didn't know about until I visited this museum. I encourage anyone thinking of going to visit. Take the time to research the history. I found the building interesting too, it was built in 1908. Rick was very friendly and informative. I plan to go back and bring my family."
