Galaxie Apartments

Galaxie Apartments, located at 10695 Reinke Street in Hayward, Wisconsin, is a nonprofit housing institution dedicated to providing safe and affordable housing for elderly and disabled individuals in Sawyer County. Established in 1972 by a group of community-minded citizens, Galaxie Apartments offers a variety of one and two-bedroom apartments with attached laundry rooms for residents' convenience. The institution expanded in 1986 to accommodate the growing population in Hayward, constructing a new sixteen unit building across from the existing complex.

Managed by a dedicated team including a full-time manager and maintenance staff, Galaxie Apartments is overseen by a Board of Directors who volunteer their time to ensure the well-being of residents.
