Coulee Junction Caboose

"This was such an amazing place. My wife and I stayed here for our 27th wedding anniversary. The Caboose was modern and super cozy. Loved the screened in porch and hot tub. The area was very secluded and private. No people around and very few cars passed by the three days we were there. Loved every part of our stay. The host was super attentive to our needs. Will be back again."

John is an excellent host and has a treasure hidden in the bluffs with this old caboose. it's modern inside and the screened in hot tub is a great way to relax after visiting the local winery's (Sugar Creek Winery is great). We'll be making our way back to this hide-a-way in the future."

"This place is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the last time I stayed there about a year ago. All new 15 x 15 screen porch with hot tub. fan, chairs and couch!! Old wood gazeebo, rails and decking are GONE! I could LIVE HERE! Hot tub still greatly appreciated under the stars at 5 a.m."

"Fantastic experience. Very accommodating. Owners provide fire wood, bug spray, all kitchen equipment, wine, bottled water, shower supplies. Wifi and television with DVD player available. There is a k-cup coffee maker. We turned the heat down on the hot tub and enjoyed the bubbles. We crossed the bridge to Iowa to Lansing and were surprised to find a parade. People were friendly and when we wanted quiet we went back to Coulee Junction. Highly recommended."
