"I applied at Storer few months ago and the process was too long. It took them 3 months to respond back to me and when I was given the opportunity for the second interview, the pay rates have changed, which was totally different from what they were advertising online. To new applicants: please don't be deceived on what you see online. They will use that as a trap and let you fall in to the cracks. That is just their way to lure people to apply and then when it's time for you to sign the paperworks, the Recruiter whom you have had initial contact with would pass you on to the boss. The boss would then negotiate your pay rate and even lower it to down to $18/hour from $22.80. I was totally frustrated on how they've treated me. I don't think anyone should be treated the way I was treated by them. Please stay away and go look somewhere. This is a very dishonest company. They will lie to you on your face and would take advantage of you in any way that they can! I was very glad I didn't accept that offer and now I have made a better decision of choosing another company which pays considerably higher and within reasonable rate!!!! The recruiters should have undergone a better training on how to be truthful to the applicants and not give them false hope. I was really disappointed about the whole entire process. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!"
"I’ve been physically disabled for a few years. I know others have them worse than me so I try to leave the ADA seats for others. However, there are days that I have real difficulties. Today is one of those days. I tried to sit on the ADA seat in front of the bus. There are still 3 seats vacant. The bus driver told me to move. When I said I’m disabled, he said he needed proof. Instead of discussing my disabilities in public, I forced myself to painfully walk to the middle of the bus. I have never been asked to provide proof of disability. I don’t even think it’s legal."
"At 6:05 pm today, on the corner of Bryant and Main St in San Francisco. Coach 2004 almost ran me over while I was in the crosswalk on a green with the walk signal. Upon noticing me the driver did not pause his driving as I flailed my arms hoping to be noticed and not run over, but flailed his arms back and flipped me off. This is not safe driving behavior nor is i becoming of any professional vehicle operator. They should be ashamed to have such poorly qualified drivers and people at their company."
"date 10/20/2018 storer bus going from oakland 14th and broadway at 6:30pm to graton casino that bus was supposed to leave at 12:00am from graton casino but the bus came almost two hours late at around 2:00am. The same driver named James was the driver and he didn't let my mom get on the bus because he told my mom to carry and bring her walker inside the bus but my mom wanted to put it in the bus trunk because it is too heavy and she has bad knees and he left my mom at the casino. The bus driver came almost two hours late and my mom is almost 60 years old but he still left her there just because she did not do what the driver insisted on. And the driver did not even help her with carrying that walker inside. This storer driver name James is a moron people. I have heard complaints about that driver from three other passengers. This driver should definitely be fired and they should take some action against this moron. Store bus number 61426 date 3/4/2018 storer bus going from oakland 14th and broadway at 6:30pm to graton casino That bus driver(Name - James, black male, kinda old, always drive the night time bus from oakland to graton) on the bus always play his music loud through the bus speakers and turn about half of passenger reading lights on when it is dark at night when people try to get some rest on the way to casino or coming back from casino. A couple of passengers complained about those issues but the driver just said "do not bother me and do not touch my lights" and he wouldn't listen to what the passangers complain about. I'm providing some proof photos (on the google map thr storer page photos section i posted under david flone) and if you want more information or talk to me call me. I even took some video proof. (one of the pictures clearly shows the passenger light pointing directly towards a passenger's face) Those reading lights that the driver insist on leaving on hurt eyes in the dark and the music the driver plays is too loud so please take some action thanks."
