The Provinces Apartments

"I recently visited the provinces and Angel helped me. She was absolutely delightful to work with answered every single question that I had and made sure that I was getting into the apartment that would best suit me and my children. They have really went above and beyond to try to create a better environment for this apartment and I can tell that they have done a ton of work on the apartment. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this community. Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service and giving me peace of mind. I absolutely loved the inside of the apartment! Thank you so much for all of your help I truly appreciate it!"

"If I can give this place, no stars, I would I hate my mom has to stay here this place has become ran down. I was here yesterday and the first thing I see is the trash outside. It’s been looking like it’s been sitting filled with trash for months then I walk in the building walk up to the pop machine and there’s nothing but trash coming from trash bags, trash all over the floors when you walk to the hallways, there was clothes laying in the parking lot. This building has a foul odor.. There has been multiple shootings down here there’s only one way and one way out so if you get caught in the gun fire coming in or out it’s on you I remember one day I was going to my moms building as soon as I reached her apartment there was a shooting right by my car I feel like Aone not caring about these apartments like they don’t care about the apt in Brooklyn Center do not move here if you don’t want management caring about your well-being"

"Apartments aren't horrible. Lots of storage. Big closets, however very few cabinets in kitchen and no pantry unless you get a two bedroom. Garages are basic. No power or opener. Building entry doors are not secure. Property is crawling with people coming in and out. I wouldn't trust having expensive stuff in the lot, garage or in my home at this place. Management never answers the phone, and it took 12 days to get a response for the application. I called and emailed and got no response. Then someone finally answered after one week of everyday calls and two emails. This was after I applied and gave them $40. I was given an excuse that the first of the month was coming up and they were busy with current tenants. It was 10 days from the first of the month!! Don't waste your $40 on applying. You might as well throw it out of your car window while driving down the road."

"This Apartment Complex is nasty! If you want to do whatever you want and have nobody say anything, you will love it. Many of your neighbors will be nasty and disrespectful. Garbage is everywhere. Strong smell of weed in the hallways. I could smell weed from the hallway inside my apartment. Just say it is 420 Friendly, 'cause it is! I asked my friend if She wanted to come in, and She was like, "I'm good"! That hurt my feelings. I was embarrassed to have my Home Care Nurse visit. Domestic disputes outside your door at, 4 am! People slamming doors every time they go in and out. People asking to be let in the building because they have no key. People sleeping in the laundry room. I would mop the floor and wipe down everything before I would wash my clothes. The Laundry Room was across the Hall from my Apartment, so I could hear people starting to wash their clothes at 11:30 pm. I started taking my clothes to the Laundromat instead. Peoples clothes came-up missing. People break the security doors, and prop the door open so anybody can come in, repeatedly. Random people hanging out in the stairwells, or loitering in the Lobby. Cigarette butts and ashes all over the steps and entryway, 'cause people looking for cigarettes dump the container on the ground. Kids running up and down the hallways (breaking the exit sign) and throwing trash down everywhere, on a daily basis. Raw sewage from the drain clean-out is left in the hallway. Strong smell of animal urine in the hallway. People here throw cooking grease out on the steps? Yes, they do! Drug addicted neighbors stomping around (repeated loud coughing all day) waking you up, 'cause they are having a SMOKE-A-THON. They get mad when you tell them to be quiet. I had to call the Sheriff multiple times and twice in one day (They ruined Thanksgiving and Christmas one year). The Sheriff is there so often, I asked them why they don't just get an apartment there, it would be more efficient. People driving fast through the complex, music blasting. People dump clothes and furniture in the hallway. A couch was left in the hallway and set on fire, causing serious damage. You can still leave your stuff in the hallway if you want. It is the culture of this place. The Management, is fine with this as long as you pay your rent! Don't ever go to them complaining, they will treat you like you are the problem. Then, when you break your Lease, they will keep some of your deposit after you have been traumatized by the environment they maintain. This is where people live when they leave the Homeless Shelter, then bring all their friends to live off the lease. I had very little Peaceful Enjoyment here. SMH"
