"Trade River Retreat Cabin is immaculate. The aesthetic is so unique; artistic rustic. The trees tuck right up to the cabin, the river elbows past just outside and the seven skylights make sure that even on a long rainy day the cabin never feels dark. The big gathering table has plenty of room to eat, write, create or puzzle. Take the short drive north to Crex Meadows Wildlife Area to view swans, sandhill cranes, and redwing blackbirds."

"Our stay at the Wright House in Bayfield was just what our family needed. Bayfield was a charming town and lovely gateway to the adventures of the Apostle Islands, and the Wright House was the perfect respite to relax and unwind. The view from the house is unbeatable. The location is quiet and expansive, providing lots of room inside and out for lounging or playing games. Summer was a great time to be there, and we hope to return one autumn. Jenna was an amazing host, answering all our questions and stocking the house with everything we could possibly need and lots of extras that we didn't need but were sure appreciative of. The binoculars next to the leather lounger were my favorite extra touch and provided for fun bird and boat watching. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful."

"Our stay at the Harbor Hill House was a huge success amongst my group of traveling buddies! The home more than accommodated our needs for the six of us and we found ourselves at the house more than in the city of Bayfield. The huge wrap around porch, nice weather, and excellent views of Madeline Island were better than advertised and worth every second spent out there. The house is a five-minute walk to the ferry and downtown was not much further. This was a big selling point for us when considering our stay in the area. The house is huge and cozy at the same time! We spent the majority of our time around the living room and dining room playing cards or dominos. We arrived to a very clean and well-kept house with a kitchen that supplied everything we needed to cook our meals together. The bedrooms were very comfortable for each of us with cozy beds and window AC units that kept them cool on a very warm weekend in Bayfield. We were very happy with the price we paid and the accommodations we received. Jenna was very gracious with the cancelation policy to accommodate any unforeseen Covid-related issues. Thankfully, this was not an issue for our group, but it was a testament to a solid host. Communication was in abundance, timely, and effortless! Jenna was so easy to work with and she allowed us to pay by Venmo and backed it up immediately with documentation and confirmation messages. The web/social media presence made researching the place a breeze and her wonderful photos of the place helped sell us on staying. We had only a couple criticisms of the place. One, there are plenty of bathrooms in the place, but only one shower in the main house. The guest cottage out back has the other shower. This was not a major issue really and definitely not a deterrent for us staying here again. Two, the internet is not reliable. Depending on who you asked in our group this was a great thing. Again, not a show stopper for us and we really just wanted the internet to stream music on our portable speaker. Jenna helped make the stay great and we highly recommend the Harbor Hill House for those considering it!"

"We rented The Wright House in Bayfield for our Covid elopement in early October, and OH MY GOD I'm so glad we did! It was the perfect spot! Beautiful views from every room, a kitchen with everything you'd need, and just an all around amazing place! We decided on having the ceremony in the library, overlooking the backdrop of ferns that are at least 20 feet long. The spot was perfect for the 7 of us there in person, and their WiFi made it possible for us to have the rest of our family virtually present for our ceremony. Being able to see 7 of the 12 Apostle Islands made drinking our morning coffee in either the living room or the deck downright magical! The caretakers do a great job at keeping the place sparkling and Jenna is always only a text away with any questions that you have! If you're thinking of having your elopement or small wedding around Bayfield, The Wright House is your place!"

"Our group had such a great time at the Wright House. We were able to truly escape our respective cities, relax, and work remotely during the pandemic. We cooked a ton of great food and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The grill and fire pits got good use as well! The close proximity to Bayfield was super convenient for a day trip to Madeline Island, and any quick grocery needs in town, but the house feels remote and completely private. It really was an absolutely ideal location. Setting up our stay was easy, and I hope to go back one day!"
