"Im not sure why my review was erased as I just posted a couple months ago but my mom had the best care here. They really have turned the place around. It’s a little dated like many rehab centers, but not dirty as the other reviewer said. My mom was in for a full three weeks and the nurses and CNAs were much better and way more attentive than the hospital she was in before rehab"
"Was just there visiting a good friend and I found that the people there couldn’t have been more rude. As I am power of health for him I asked for news from the doctor and was rudely told why? What did I want to see him for. Asked me what for etc. I have never seen more healthcare workers more rude in my life. They are obviously just there for the paycheck. The place is depressing, dirty. I would give it a half star. If you truly love your family go anywhere but here. We are trying very hard to get him out asap. He is there for rehab only."
"My wife recently stayed at Crossroads Care Center after a major surgery. The care here is excellent, especially with the daytime staff I have been able to meet. The staff truly cares about their clients and their well being. I have read some old reviews and I believe the place has turned away from any old, poor habits. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone in need of attentive care and rehabilitation. My wife said she had an excellent time getting to know the staff members through conversations during her stay. While they have an older facility, they have modern care with experienced people."
"I work for a local home care company, and I recently was contacted by Kim, a discharge planner at Crossroads, on behalf of a Crossroads client who needed care after they left Crossroads. Kim was very knowledgeable about her client and was able to explain the client’s needs with great detail. It was a pleasure to work with someone who was clearly very skilled at their job, and we are working on getting the client the exact care they need. Crossroads clearly cares about the needs of their clients, even as they are moving on from the facility."
"The food is good sometimes. Breakfast and lunch seem to be better than dinner for some reason. The staff are usually nice, however, they are very slow most of the time. I have a broken femur and hip bone, and I’m using the restroom on my own, with a walker already before leaving the hospital. It’s a good thing I can do that on my own, or I would have had accidents due to the slow response time here. After I notify staff I need my medication, they sometimes take up to an hour to get it here, even though I’m in terrible pain. No patient should be waiting so long to use the restroom, or to receive their medications. Sometimes they are busy, but even when I get up at 5am when it’s not busy, they will take forever, so I go out of my room to find the nurse, and the CNA. This should never happen to the patient. For $250 a day, the patient should not have to wait 30-60 minutes for anything. The daytime staff seems to be better than the evening and overnight staff. The food is better during the day also. Today is my 3rd day here. Yesterday was my first day in the physical and occupational therapy department. OT was not too bad, however they pushed me so hard in physical therapy, I was in tears before I finished. Physical Therapy should not be this intense your first time there. Due to the intense pushing in PT yesterday, I’m in serious pain yet today. The therapist told me, I like to see people sweat because then I know they are out of their comfort zone. That’s just not right. I gave 3 stars, only because of the daytime staff here. The food is 3 stars also, however, I have not even been able to eat most of my dinners because of how bad it is. Like I stated earlier, breakfast and lunch are much better. I think if I had to go to one of these rehabilitation centers again, I would go to another facility, due to the very slow response time here. Like I mentioned earlier, the daytime staff is much better here, and faster, even though they are busier during the day."
