Wildflower Atelier is a Reggio inspired school located at 5616 Rainbow Crest Drive in Agoura Hills, California. Our program is designed for young children and is built on principles of respect, responsibility, and community. We believe in providing a supportive and enriching environment where children can explore and discover based on their own interests. Our curriculum is self-guided, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each individual child.

At Wildflower Atelier, we believe that children are active learners who thrive in a hands-on learning environment. We encourage children to freely explore different materials and ideas, while also fostering collaboration and teamwork. Our goal is to build authentic relationships between children, teachers, families, and the environment to create a strong sense of community.

We value the importance of family and community involvement in our school. Parents are welcome to participate in various activities such as cooking with children, gardening, and sharing special talents. Our organic and edible garden provides children with hands-on experiences that promote a deeper understanding of food and sustainability.

Our teachers at Wildflower Atelier are co-learners and collaborators with the children. They are well-educated in Early Childhood Education and are committed to nurturing relationships and providing quality education. Our owner and director, Lauren Szelog, has a background in Child and Adolescent Development and is a passionate advocate for children's education.

Shauna Oddo, our co-teacher, also has a background in Child and Adolescent Development and valuable experience working with children and families. She is a parent herself and understands the importance of early intervention and support for all children.

Our school hours are from 9am to 1pm, Monday through Friday. We believe that education should be fun, exciting, and tailored to each child's individual needs. Like wildflowers, children at Wildflower Atelier are allowed to grow and bloom in their own time, creating a unique and enriching learning experience for all.
