"I went to my appointment hoping for some solutions to my pain that I’ve been experiencing for some time. I mentioned that my shoulder hurt me quite badly just to hear that my X-rays were fine…. next topic. Ok, I guess my shoulder doesn’t hurt then! I got no suggestions on how to ease my muscle cramps in my entire back . I had to ask about getting an alternate muscle relaxer that was given by my GP. When I told him I currently only took something for my pain at night because I care for my disabled daughter and needed to be sharp during the day … he rolled his eyes. I was referred to a surgeon for my neck issues…. just in case…. and told I may have to wait up to 2 weeks before I get a call to schedule a cortisol injection to ease the unbearable pain in my neck. Bulging discs. My shoulder never got addressed and my horrible back cramps ignored. I was in and out of my appointment in 10 minutes . I was there for pain management and got no suggestions on how to mange my pain . The internet was more helpful."
