Reviews
"I was billed $1000 for a sleep study. My insurance company was billed $2000 for the same sleep study. Legal? I had to jump through hoops to get this fixed. Please check your bill with insurance bill. Would not recommend Aurora to anyone, go somewhere else!"
"The in-house CPAP sleep study staff was excellent and should get 5 stars. The post follow up communication and time to get a response is poor and needs improvement. You call and get a voice mail to leave a message. You might or might not get a call back. It seems that getting the help you need after the study for CPAP masks and questions afterwards is still a mystery. I was told by an Aurora HCP staff member that I could try various CPAP masks and that someone would contact me for a fitment appointment. That never happened and now I'm told they do not have an array of CPAP masks to try for fitment. I've been shuffled around to various Aurora offices and I'm now working with my primary Aurora physician to see where this takes me for proper answers. If your new to CPAP the Aurora Sleep center needs improved interaction for patients with much better follow up. This would be a big improvement to get newer patients that have questions and the desire to get started in the proper direction for CPAP."
"Very difficult to contact anyone. All you get is voicemail and messages left never get a call back. I have waited over a week and still no call back. If you do get to talk to someone they can’t answer any questions. They only make appointments. Very frustrating to deal with this office!"
"I strongly recommend obtaining financial details prior to getting involved with the testing procedure. The list price for the sleep study, before insurance, is $770, and the one-paragraph diagnostic of the results will cost another $840. That's $1,610 before you even have a discussion about a CPAP device."
"I share other reviewers frustration over phone calls. The actual sleep study was efficiently done. Nursing staff was professional, knowledgable and courteous. After the sleep study was done I was kind of left in the room not knowing what to do. The sleep study took place a week ago and my Dr says the results are not in yet. I find this very odd because the nurse at the lab said the results were viewable by her instantaneously. I would rate communication the lowest grade and the rest above average."
