"Dr. Plotkin is a good PCP. Unfortunately rest of the office is functioning at a low level. First time I went no one was at the front desk. Several people in waiting room and the only staff that saw us just looked around confused and did not try to help. Then never had any messages about visit, invitation to set up mychart, etc. Had difficulty trying to schedule an appointment. Need a medical documentation showing vaccination status signed and returned to me. Now that it is signed I have to either pick it up or have it faxed. I asked if there was any possible way it could be scanned, anything other than fax or pick up. Person I spoke with was not very helpful and did not sound interested in helping figure out an alternative"
"I have the utmost respect for Dr.Bautista it HURTS me that while he us away his staff has been rude to the CORE. I AM NOW OUT OF MY MEDICATION AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY HELP. DR. PERSHMAN SENT MY MEDICATION TWICE TO THE WRONG PHARMACY. I HAVE HAD TWO SURGERIES AND IN NEED OF SEVERAL MORE. I CALLED ELMBROOK WHERE THEY TOLD ME DR. PERSHMAN IS AND HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I NEED HELP. I AM SUFFERING AND IN PAIN AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY HELP FROM RUDE STAFF. I AM SHOCKED I AM GOING THROUGH THIS."
"I'm sure the doctors are fine, but I was overbilled. Billing never returned my claim. I called them back and they had no record of it. I spoke the head of the clinic once and then my messages and voicemails stopped being returned. This process appears designed to frustrate you so you just give up and pay."
"The scheduling was an absolute nightmare! It took me three weeks JUST TO SCHEDULE an appointment off of an expedited referral, I called 6 times and every single time I called there was no record of me in the computers at all, and I had to give my personal information each time. I don’t understand why I couldn’t just call and schedule an appointment, especially after being informed they had my referral, I had to wait for a call back! I’ve never seen any doctors office operated this way (especially for a consult appointment, not even a procedure). The last time I called I started yelling at people and that’s when I finally got a call back. It’s very sad and pathetic that I even had to get to the point of yelling, and that’s the only thing that got my calls returned. Once being called back into the room, I was greeted by a nurse who obviously hated her job and showed no respect, she was very rude and snippy with me. I understand everyone has bad days, but especially working with a pain management doctor, where most of the people this doctor sees are in chronic pain and struggling, this should not be allowed whatsoever. Honestly the only thing not wrong with your company is the doctor I saw! I’ve never had so many issues with a doctors office in my life, and I’ve been to a lot with my condition. All around pathetic, aggravating and a nightmare of a company!"
"Clearly the staffing levels are insufficient at this location. While nurses and assistants are all courteous and helpful, I ended up waiting over an hour for my scheduled appointment and at times was left wondering if I was the only one in the office. The management really needs to stop making excuses about the "challenging environment" and investing in the staff they need to be able to fulfill the mission they purport to have. Given this rate of decline, I wouldn't be surprised if they close their doors within a couple of years."
