"My family and I have been going to Sunrise Cove on Lake Nebagamon for quite a while. We've made it an annual tradition and I can honestly say it is one of the things I look forward to most every year! Everything you could ever want in a North Woods Lake Cabin experience you'll find at Sunrise Cove and more. Erik and Emily have gone out of their way to make sure everything was anticipated. They are extremely easy to work with, so friendly and very responsive hosts. We used to come as a group of guys. We could fish right off the dock, lounge in the hammocks or hang out in the Sauna on the chilly nights. We've even brought canoes to raft down the ledges of the Mighty Brule River near by. It's available year-round and it's the perfect home base for snowmobiling in the winter with miles of trails and hunting trips in the fall. As our group has grown to include spouses and children there literally is something for everyone! The kids love playing in the water and there's a soft, sandy bottom with a gentle slope into the water so even the little kids feel secure where they can touch. Everyone loves pontoon(included with our rental!) rides to the local Dairy Queen across the lake. No one else offers that!! There's a fully stocked kitchen and grill on the deck if we want to eat in and there's a lake view fire pit in the back yard to roast marshmallows for dessert. There's also plenty of local watering holes and restaurants if we feel like going out. It's a relaxing retreat, with plenty of room, so much to do, incredible amenities both included and in the surrounding area with easy access from where we are in the Twin Cities. This has become our home away from home in the north woods and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a family vacation or reunion, summer trip or winter adventure. You really can find everything at Sunrise Cove!!"
"We arrived and the place was spotless! Honestly, they have any toy I'd want to use, the fish were biting, the water is clean, and the shoreline is great for the kids to play. The sandy bottom gradually deepens out to the end of the dock which is awesome for the kids to swim and play in! My kids absolutely LOVE the little slide that goes down into the lake and the raft for everyone to jump off! There's a ton of provided amenities to keep the kids happy and occupied both inside and out. They provide a very clean and comfortable Bennington pontoon! The sauna is a great touch and so nice to sweat it up and then run and jump in the lake. It's a great house and great location! One of our favorite things is how private it is and that it is removed from town. It's only a quick boat ride away to get to the DQ and bar but still feels really secluded and removed! The 3 season porch is a cool place to relax after a long day in the sun! And to top it all off...from a selfish perspective, I'm able to bring my Mastercraft and slalom ski on a lake that has a place to ski no matter what direction the wind! Skier's dream! The owners are a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. They're available any time of day to answer questions I have and are extremely knowledgeable about the north land area. They recommended seeing a small state park called Amnicon Falls and it was a family highlight! If you're a golfer, Hidden Greens North is only about 15 minutes away and it's a very well manicured 18 hole course cut through the woods and is good get away if you're staying for a week!"
