"Very clean, it is also home for the public bus transportation, known as the Duluth Transit Authority and it is also home for Duluth's Finest also, known as the Duluth Police Department the downtown hub, but I can only see one draw back and that is it lacking vending machines, for hot food, there's a soda machine, and candy and, chips."
"No employees at the depot during business hours except a very rude, unprofessional driver during the few minutes to board passengers. My bus was cancelled with no notice and he only made me feel worse by yelling, showing zero concern and offered no alternatives."
"Usually don't have any issues riding from duluth to Rochester but today sucked. I'm FREEZING! -14° below zero for a temp in duluth right now n my fingers and toes are numb from the cold temp INSIDE THE BUS. Driver could've turned the heat up WAY before getting to Pine city. Also was scheduled to leave Duluth at 7:10 but didn't leave until after 7:30. Didn't see any reason for delay except driver taking his time doing nothing. Should've used the extra time to find the heat settings for the bus! Ridiculous."
"The bus drivers are fabulous!! That's really the only positive for Jefferson bus line. Their 1-800-####### is horrible. Personnel totally not knowledgeable and barely speak fluent English. Busses aren't very clean. Note to anyone taking the bus try not to use the bathroom. They aren't very clean. The bus on the way home was out of order. If you had to use the facility/toilet, the driver would provide you with some water... I'm assuming that was to flush??? Again, the bus drivers are fabulous. Jefferson bus lines needs to step up their game plan. More training for customer service phone calls. Preferably English speaking."
"My first experience with Jefferson Lines was okay. The person who gave me my ticket back in May was very helpful, and friendly. On the day I was taking my trip to Fargo, the person at the ticket window was also very helpful. However, the driver that was driving the bus I had to take was not pleasant at all. It was my first time riding the bus... so I didn't know where I was allowed to sit, and where I wasn't allowed to sit. I sat down towards the front not knowing I wasn't allowed to sit there, and the driver comes saying "You can't sit there! You can't sit there!" He sounded very rude, and unpleasant. He saw my cane when I was walking out to the bus, so he knew I was visually impaired. When he spoke to me, it sounded like he was yelling at me or something... he scared me to the point where I was silently crying in my seat for the first half of the bus ride. You know, when someone isn't sure about where they're supposed to sit, help them find a seat... don't get after them by yelling at them or anything. Just say something like "Excuse me, can you please move to another seat? We don't allow people to sit there. Thank you." That would be better than "You can't sit here!" Other than that, the experience was fine. When I arrived in Fargo, the new driver that took over for the mean one helped me locate my suitcase."
