"Because i am forced to go work there"

"I am writing this review to share my distressing experience with JB HUNT’s brokerage department and to caution other businesses about their services. In August, I booked a load from Ontario, CA to an Amazon warehouse in Greenfield, Indiana through JB HUNT. The driver arrived with the Bill of Lading from JB HUNT, and the load was marked as delivered with a Proof of Delivery attached. However, after a couple of weeks, the status for these inventories remained ‘pending receiving’ at Amazon, which raised a red flag since it was a live unloading. I reached out to my account associate at JB HUNT numerous times seeking clarification and assistance, but I was left in the dark about what had actually happened to my load. Eventually, I was informed by a JB HUNT specialist that the load was tendered to a carrier, who then passed it on to another carrier, and ultimately, it never reached its destination. JB HUNT labeled the load as stolen since they couldn’t get a response from the final carrier. Now, JB HUNT is pressuring me to settle all remaining balances without resolving the issue of the missing load. My account manager claimed to be “trying to help” by pushing me to clear my invoices immediately, despite the ongoing issue. Furthermore, their claim department is stalling the process, stating they need further response from Amazon regarding the POD, which Amazon hasn't provided any other responses other than the POD. I feel compelled to highlight that double brokerage, which is a serious issue, seems to be taken lightly in this scenario. The carriers involved are new and small-scale, with one registered with a single truck and the other with two, both in business for no more than a year. JB HUNT is now pushing the responsibility onto me to prove that the load was never delivered, which is almost an impossible task. I trusted JB HUNT due to their stature in the industry, and I regret not using a tracker for this load. My small business is now facing a significant financial loss as none of the inventory from the load reached Amazon, and I am unable to prove that the driver never delivered the load. The only document I possess is a POD from Amazon, the authenticity of which is in question. I am sharing this story to alert other businesses to exercise caution and conduct thorough research before engaging with JB HUNT’s brokerage services. My experience has shown that even well-established companies can have lapses in their service, leaving small businesses to bear the brunt of the loss."

"Pay is HOURLY only on paper. You will need to move quickly in the beautiful LA traffic to get your loads, miles. Detention, TONUs ETC. Pay is based on ACTIVITY. If you complain you might get good dispatch for a few days. Activity PAY actually increased due to INFLATION. Thanks."

"Very nice staff and like any trucking company it does the usual thing in orientation plus a few items that most company do not. As a 9 year driver I did learn somethings from Ray and the other people working there. Two items that needs to be improved: 1: A better hotel for driver to stay 2: Better lunches But otherwise I give them 5+ Stars"
