"It’s dirty. But I love how the art interact with the current society. Somehow it speaks for the community."
"Right across the Ferry Building, I have heard most locals call it the ugliest fountain may because of the greenish water, homeless people sleeping, and trash lying around this brilliant piece of art sculpture. You can walk under and over the cement sculpture, quiet amazing and it is surrounded by a small park and couple of benches."
"Visually interesting sculture like fountain. However the water is green and there is always a homeless person ruin your photo."
"The Vaillancourt Fountain consists of multiple cubed pipes that spill green water. The same pressured water used to clean the sidewalks along Market Street. It might be a good indicator of water quality in the area."
"Very cool fountain. Lots of place to sit. Seems calm on a weekday. Right across from the ferry building which has a lot of shops and places to eat."
