"Worse service ever. Unprofessional. I visited this bank on 7/11. As my wife and I was making a transaction, the clerk mocked me about 1 of my accounts which didn't have very much money and giggled/laughed about it. I had some questions about my wife and my accounts because we had discrepancies on how it was linked in which the person readily responded and laughed at me addressing the account with little money. Being offended and trying to defend myself, the branch manager tried to kick me out and while talking with her, she defended the clerk saying that the clerk did nothing wrong in which was just communicating and trying to make a connection. This branch and the people is absolutely unprofessional and not good to work with. If being funny is what they want, they should've became a clown or a comedian instead of bankers; they're in the wrong industry."
"UPDATE: NO STARS. Signed into online account to stop reoccurring bill payments, then went into branch to close out account. They closed out my accounts. Now, weeks later, they send me a letter that the account was overdrawn & I needed to pay! How can the account be overdrawn when it was closed weeks BEFORE? This is the most unprofessional financial institution I’ve ever had. Take your money elsewhere. Tried to withdraw cash from multiple ATM’s at different locations (after hours)but was unsuccessful. I know I have funds available since I rarely use this acct. so I checked my account via their APP and online. It shows I have money available but why would the atm not dispense the cash? Called the bank during business hours and was told the daily atm limit was $200. Really?!? I have other bank accounts and their daily withdrawals are $1,000 a day. Very inconvenient and not sure why Patelco would do this. Time to close out this account."
"The 2 stars is ONLY because this branch is around the corner from me. This review should really warrant a 1 star. My wife and I went in to open up a new account (checking, savings, etc) and a signature line of credit. We were helped by a lady named Sheryl (Apologies if i got the name wrong) and we thought we were in good hands. The nightmare started when we were rejected for our line of credit. No problem, things happen but we inquired about what caused the rejected. Come to find out, they only ran my credit as the primary. We specifically told her to run my wife as the primary because I am in the process of rebuilding my credit. My wife went back to the branch apply with just her income and we thought we put this to rest. Today comes and we were curious to see if we were approved or not. We decided to call Patelco and the customer service representative advise us that they were not showing any documents relating to our request. The person who helped us at the branch DID NOT save the information that my wife provided and in turn, the under writers couldn't proceed. Nothing was accomplished. This is very concerning especially being a new customer. I am very disappointed in the level of service i have been offered by the branch representative. This has caused so many parties to have to be involved when it should have been a standard SOP."
