"I had an appointment with Dr. Bures, a dermatologist to see what he might be able to do about a cyst on my wrist. I had previously gotten ultra soon imaging done at Gundersen clinic and when making the appointment at Neighborhood clinic, it was suggested I drop off the imaging and report from Gundersen so Dr. Bures could review it and make a determination as to what he may or may not do. It took a lot of effort to get the reports from Gundersen as they no longer have a walk-in service in the records department. I did receive the imaging a few days later in time to give them to Dr. Bures for review. I had my dad drop them off as I was not available to do so. The clinic agreed to give him the imaging and radiologist report and if he felt he could not help me then they would call me and cancel the appointment saving them the time and me the money. That was the plan. I never got a call and so I assumed the good Dr. was comfortable with helping me. At my appointment today, Dr Bures said he did not get the report or imaging so he decided against doing anything for me. He did not make any attempt to get the report from whoever "dropped the ball", but instead sent me on my way. At the check-out desk I had to hand them $78 and they handed me the imaging report that they failed to give the Dr. That kind of incompetent work ethic has no place in any heath care facility and certainly should not be tolerated by the administration of that facility. Very disappointed and lighter in the wallet. Don"t waste Your time and hard earned money!!! Go to a real clinic. If you're strapped for cash, I suggest you look into Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers in Cashton and Norwalk where they accept all insurances including veterans and Bager Care. They also have what is called Family plan which is a sliding scale plan based on income which can be as low as $40 per visit. The clinic in Cashton is 8 times the size of any of the Neighborhood Family Clinics and a much better facility with competent, caring staff and physicians which includes dental, chiropractic behavioral health and much more."
