"I have to say that is the first time i look for help for mental health, and I’m surprised, super surprised, to be in hands of ALL THOSE SUPER MEGA WONDERFUL PEOPLE I HAD THE BLESSING TO MEET, AND THE OUTSTANDING HELP AND CARE FROM BOTH , HIAWATHA VALLEY HEALTH CENTER AND WINONA HEALTH HOSPITAL! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Ernesto Claudio Agosto"
"There's a problem I have with HVMHC... they took two months to get paperwork to my work so I can return to work! I'm losing my benefits at my job and my phone is being shut off now because of their tardiness and lack of urgency (unlike they promised me during my appointments). I get that you're understaffed, but y'all have put me in a HECK OF A SITUATION FINANCIALLY BECAUSE OF YOUR INACTION. Shame on y'all for putting me in a financial crisis."
"First of all, mental health issues DO NOT pause at 1:00 on Friday afternoon until 8:00 Monday morning!!! I realize you can call for emergency care on the weekend, but something’s are only urgent, not an emergency. And somethings can only be taken care of by your particular provider. Also, they lost or don’t have record of a $280 payment!!! So guess what, the patient had to pay again!!! As if someone needing their services doesn’t already “pay” every day of that persons life!!!"
"I would like to not give them a star at all as the bored members don't come down and see how mandating a mask order at highwatha valley mental health and the bord and lodges as well as highwatha bluffs living how it affects people living in those places or using the building. Also you have staff that plays favorites which it needs to be the same across the board. Lastly dr and therapist need to listen to there clients and respects the client coffindily."
"It is tough to find a therapist who is empathetic when you are struggling with crippling depression, and this place literally had 1 of the only 2 therapists I have met in my entire life who I would consider good therapists and good human beings. Sadly he is gone now and all the other staff are extremely condescending. You are more likely to commit suicide from the way they will make you feel like a loser and a failure who can't do anything right and will make you constantly blame yourself. It is sad that even now in 2016 the mental health industry isn't even close to where it should be in terms of understanding the pain of people who suffer from mental illness. In the end you gotta find what works for you and be your own best friend because the world will constantly try to berate you or drug you into a brainless cash cow. The mental health industry did not become an 88 billion dollar industry by helping people."
