Owner Operators do not book with these brokers I did a load from CA to TX back in May the load got rejected for "temp issues" they sent me to their shop of preference to get my reefer checked out everything passed they were notified by the shop personnel everything was good so they had me deliver the load to another produce place in Dallas were according to Hwy Haul it was being dumped which was a lie all the produce was unloaded into a cooler its now been 8months and they have not paid me according to the owner the claim is still being investigated I got with my adjuster and there is no claim. Sad how they take from us hard working human beings!"

"I am an Owner Operator Truck driver. I booked a load through these people. The agreement was to haul a trailer about 800 miles and stop in 2 places to have it unloaded. Upon arrival the product was completely unloaded and refused. I called in and was told to return to the same location. Unloaded again and again was refused and reloaded. Then they had me sit for 3 more days and told me to take it to NYC. Which was 400 miles away and cost $200 in tolls. I would have never accepted the load if going to New York City, that is about the only place I don't go to. But because I didn't have a choice I did it. I requested to know how much extra I would receive for extra work, and all they would tell me was they would make it worth it, but wouldn't say how well. After going there, they unloaded again, took all night and part of next day and finally refused again. Then they had me take it to another that finally accepted the load. The original agreement was to pay me 2500 for 800 miles and 2 stops. I went to five loads and 6 stops and 1600 miles and was offered only $150 extra. I requested $6000, but would have been slightly happy with $4000. I've called and emailed several times and they pretend that they don't understand anything, and say they will talk to boss and get back to me, which they haven't done yet over a month later."
