The UPS Store

"The services have gone downhill ever since Korean people took over this store. I missed the original crew who are nice and helpful. I have been there many times, most of the experience is awful. When I returned Amazon package, the guy at counter said I have to seal the box otherwise he won't take it. I asked nicely if he can help tape it, he said no, I have to buy a new row of tape for $4.99. Or I can buy their sealable shipping bag for $3. I have never seen any service like that in any other shipping store. Another case is when I tried to ship a box to a friend. I printed the prepaid label and taped it to the box at home but somehow their scanner couldn't recognize the bar code. One of their staff said they will charge 50cents to reprint the label and I said ok. In the final receipt I saw the printing price is $2 and I asked them why, it should be $0.5 as communicated. The guy just changed story saying any printing starts with $2 even if only one page, then add $0.5 per page. This is so ridiculous. Looks like they just want to squeeze every dollar possible from customer. They may get peanuts by doing this but they are losing customers. I will never go there again, I would rather drive further to Mira Mesa UPS store, there are also Asian crew but much decent and helpful."

"Everyone is always super kind and sweet. I think a lot of the negative reviews are because of Amazon and the returns system. Some items have to be packed before taking to the store, if you don’t beforehand and it needs to be done there of course you’re going to have to purchase the packaging yourself. Amazon isn’t going to pay them for the product. People need to learn to have some patience. Customer service is hard. Be kind to others."

"This is the WORST UPS store. I went there a couple times and people there are very very very rude. I took my Amazon return there even though it said I don't need to package them, they made me buy their boxes and tape to package them. Not only that, they were not even nice about it, they don't even want to take it. If I can give zero star I would. Do NOT go there!!!!!!"

"I recently went to this store to do live scan fingerprinting. I was helped by Sharon Lee. While we were doing my fingerprint scanning, I had kept my finger on the scan machine and she got very angry. She stopped and stared at me and asked me 'Do you want to fail your test? You cannot put your hand on the scan machine' I was not given any instructions when we began. She was rude and disrespectful. I will not be visiting this store again."

"The staff were extraordinarily unprofessional. Having personal conversations while working with guests. Also, this location refuses to tape Amazon return boxes that have a printed out label, but if you use a QR code they do it. Unfortunately the service that I received was less than satisfactory and I am extremely disappointed in the individuals present during this day 9/2/2022 at 12:30pm. I sincerely hope management considers hiring new staff with some professional courtesy and understanding"
