"I really appreciated how the yard person hooked up the trailer while my husband went into the office to do paperwork. He had access to my reservation on his device. Disappointing that my husband had to redo many of the information items I had entered online and decline insurance again. Corporate covering its back??? However, the yard is really crowded and they need to tell Google where the correct entrance is."
"It cost us nearly $300 to drive a 10-ft truck up to Ukiah which is 90 minutes away. One direction. I couldn't believe how much it cost and will not use U-Haul again."
"they have a sign saying $19.99 per day to rent a truck, I picked it up and returned it three hours later, they charged me another $20 saying it would be after service hours. It doesn't matter if you fill up the truck, they will charge you more money for gas they charged me $29 for gas and I have a photo of the tank marker from when I picked it up and when I returned it"
"They charged me twice for my U-Haul because I returned the equipment a little after my estimated drop off time. They considered it 2 rentals, which means 2x the rental fee, insurance, etc. By reading the other reviews it looks like I’m not alone in being charged way more than advertised. My advice is to completely avoid this location, or if you decide to book with them, reserve as much time as possible (it’s no additional cost to max out the hours) on your U-Haul so that they don’t double charge you. They will nickel and dime you and make you feel disgusted after a long day of moving."
"I left this placed feeling like they stole from me. When we arrived they seemingly generously offered to give us a larger truck. I assumed they were just managing their available trucks as they were never clear that they would charge more for something we didn't need. They also claimed that the gas was one gallon short when I'm certain that I increased the amount of gas in the truck and then charged $11 for this "missing" gallon. The return clerk refused to look at my gas receipt only saying that in his judgement the line was lower than when checked out. They were polite throughout this encounter, but that only made me feel that they are well practiced and possibly incentivized to find every opportunity to squeeze money out of you. The truck was fine and, outside of combating the financial squeeze, we were in and out quickly. If you rent here, you will need to be exceedingly careful that they don't charge you more than promised."
