"I don’t know why a Worldwide company like Honda have that kind of disrespect for their customers. I have had the bad idea of applying for an “Pre Approval” like in their website said. But instead, they run my credit without my consent and after that, they just don’t have the courtesy of let me know if I was approved or not. Total disrespect. Capital one really pre approved me without any impact in my credit for a decent amount. Never mind Honda!!!"
"The true frustration emerged when I leased my Honda CRV from California in December 2020. At that time, I opted for a Honda Care Vehicle service, which cost $1295. However, within 20 days, I changed my mind and promptly contacted the Honda dealership to cancel the service. They confirmed the cancellation and sent me a letter as proof. Despite this, a few months later, I noticed that I was still being charged for monthly care services. Upon calling the dealership, they assured me that they were working on resolving the issue. However, reaching a resolution proved to be a time-consuming process, and despite their assurances, the charges persisted. They claimed the total amount would be applied to my balance at the end of the lease. This situation was particularly frustrating as the charge was not for a security deposit or a car payment, but for a Honda Care service contract that I had explicitly rejected. and I don't know if they have the right to hold my money for three years. It felt akin to dealing with a financial institution that not only took my money but also imposed additional charges, resembling interest. After three years of leasing, I purchased the vehicle and completed all the necessary paperwork. Upon requesting a refund for the amount paid to Honda Care or an adjusted balance, I encountered further challenges and received subpar service. Eventually, they sent a check, but to my dismay, they deducted $181.82. This included $84.3 for property tax, citing my move to Texas, and an undisclosed amount for reasons unknown to me. I am compelled to consult with my legal adviser regarding these discrepancies. It is disheartening to realize that I paid for services I never received, coupled with unwarranted taxes and hidden costs. This experience highlights a flawed and corrupted system that urgently requires rectification."
"By far the worse leasing company. I’ve been calling numerous times about a check claim and no one can give me an answer. I always get the run around and still no answer. They’re rude, they ask you 5 questions just to identify your account and even have to repeat my info when I’m transferred all the time. Worse."
"The Honda Financial Services is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The service department refuse to correct my account by omissions. I made a December 2023 payment on my 2023 Honda Accord. The payment was credited to my closed 2021 Honda Accord account. The 2021 was turned in October 2023. I leased a 2023 Honda Accord in in October 2023. I have spent hours on the phone with the financial services department with no results. I don't understand why no one in the Financial Services department understand that the payment should be moved to the 2023 Account Or the department should send back the payment due to an overpayment of the 2021 account. This is causing me much stress and PANIC ATTACKS. I have owned Honda Accords for many years and now I am disappointed in the service and don't want to ever do business with the Company again. I want to add that I have had four Honda Accords with no late payments. The customer service person I spoke with TWO WEEKS said he did see the problem and would make the corrections. As of today I received one of those ROBO calls stating my December payment was past due. My question is Where is my overpayment that was applied to a closed account. I say again the Worst Service ever. The employees I have spoken with has no pride in their job and they Absolutely care nothing about their customers."
"Honda Financial is awful. Terrible customer service and rude employees. I will never buy or lease another Honda as I found out when my lease was up that I could only return the car to Honda. They don't allow third-party buyouts. They do, however, accept other makes of cars, which is completely hypocritical. I ended up buying out my lease, financed with a credit union, at a way better rate than Honda offered and the women who helped me was so nice, unlike the people at Honda Financial. If I were to get into another Honda lease it would have cost me $700/month which I would never pay, nor could afford to pay, and I would be stuck with Honda forever because of their third-party buyout policy. Steer clear of Honda leases and Honda Financial!!!"
