"I can not say enough good things about Olivia not only as a provider but as a person, she is absolutely wonderful and 100% the person you want present at your birth. My experience with her was my first pregnancy, and I knew I wanted to look into something other than the standard hospital birth. My husband was super hesitant about the whole process but at the first visit, she answered all of his questions and put him at ease with everything. Throughout my whole pregnancy Olivia was thorough, attentive, and really took her time with all the appointments and actually cared about how I was doing instead of rushing through everything like it typically is at a doctors office. I never once questioned her abilities or mine/my baby’s safety as she explained everything and asked for my consent before doing anything. The labor and delivery plus postpartum process is something I would recommend to everyone from just that aspect alone, as I’ve never felt so cared for in my life. Having her and the rest of the team’s (the nurse and doula) support made me feel supported and made postpartum a much easier transition. I will forever recommend Olivia, she truly is a special gem in the world of obstetric care where women aren’t given the respect or informed consent they deserve. I’d highly recommend considering a home birth if you haven’t already."

"When my wife initially approached me about a homebirth I was uncomfortable, as I preferred the more traditional hospital based approach but I agreed to the initial consultation with Olivia. My skepticism soon faded as I saw how knowledgeable she was and how the safety of my wife and our baby was her top priority. I really appreciated the amount of time we were able to spend with her going over the risks vs benefits of all the pregnancy / birth / postpartum tests and care. This allowed us to get the type of personalized care we really wanted. Most importantly Olivia made my wife feel empowered and excited for labor, something that many women can be nervous or even scared about. Labor was a profound and amazing experience for both of us and Olivia was an important part of making that happen. She was especially helpful in positioning my wife and providing different massage / breathing techniques to help her make it through without the need for pain medications. It has been one week since our child was born and Olivia has been easy to reach and has been there to help us through all of the struggles of being new parents. I feel that we are in great hands and would recommend her to any expectant parents. If we choose to have another child we will ask her to be our midwife again."
